BREAKING: Mario Arrested For Attacking His Mother?!

R&B singer Mario was arrested in Baltimore this morning for allegedly assaulting his own mother.  Get the deets on what happened inside...
This morning, police arrived to the apartment Mario shares with his mother, Shawntia Hardaway, to find a broken china cabinet, a busted mirror and a hole in the closet door.  Apparently, Mario had a little temper tantrum and Shawntia told police he had pushed her around with his hands and forearms.  Shawntia, a former heroin addict, also said that 24-year-old Mario attacked her earlier in the week when he pushed her into a living room wall, making her hit her head.
Mario was arrested for 2nd degree assault and released on $50,000 bond. SMH.  I don't know what to say about this.  I am sure there is more to the story and hopefully it comes out soon.  Sigh.

UPDATE: Here's the Statement of Probable Cause outlining to the courts what went down:

The singer, real name Mario Dewar Barrett, is accused by his mom Shawntia Hardaway of twice attacking her at her home in Baltimore, Maryland.
She told police that the first time her 24-year-old son "pushed her eight feet into a living room wall, where Ms. Hardaway hit her head on the wall", according to police documents. She was then found crying after police arrived to a "mental case breaking up property" at her apartment, and she told officers he had again pushed her.
"When this officer asked the victim if she fears for her life in reference to her son's actions, the victim replied 'yes'," the officer wrote.
