adidas 2011 NBA All-Star Limited Edition Jerseys

adidas and the NBA launch limited edition, commemorative boxed jerseys for the 2011 NBA All-Star Game to honor a selection of the game’s top stars. In true red carpet Hollywood fashion, each premium black lacquered box top features a gold plated 2011 NBA All-Star logo. The inside of the box features black felt lining and “Los Angeles 2011″ in gold cursive along with a gold plated certificate of authenticity etched to read that each jersey was built to the exact specifications of the players’ on-court NBA All-Star jersey. Similar to the 2011 NBA All-Star Uniforms, the jerseys feature an integrated diamond pattern that stands out under the arena lights to pay tribute to the diamond anniversary (60th game) of the NBA All-Star Game.
The stars on the back of the jersey collar signify the number of NBA All-Star appearances for each player . The number of limited edition commemorative boxes made is based on the number of NBA All-Star appearances of each player: Dwight Howard (5), Derrick Rose (2), LeBron James (7), Dwyane Wade (7), Carmelo Anthony (4), Kevin Durant (2) and Kobe Bryant (13). The boxed jerseys are available for $500 USD at the adidas Sport Performance Store retail in Santa Monica and on-site at the NBA Jam Session in Los Angeles.
