SPORTS FAB: Michael Jordan & Charles Barkley BASH Lebron + Bron Bron's FAB New Miami Home

Since LeBron James's decision to join the Miami Heat many players- both past and present- have been weighing in with their opinion. Hear what Michael Jordan and Charles Barkley had to say about Bron Bron's decision plus pics of LeBron's new Miami home when you read on....

Many would say that Michael Jordan is one of the best, if not THE best basketball player to ever play the sport. But if he were playing today, Jordan has made it clear he would not play the game the way many of today's superstars do.  Take for example - Bron Bron's Decision 2010.

Jordan recently commented on Bron Bron's decision to join superstars Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh in Miami:
"There's no way, with hindsight, I would've ever called up Larry, called up Magic and said, 'Hey, look, let's get together and play on one team"
In his own interview to the Arizon Republic, Charles Barkley said:
"Mike and I are in 100% agreement on this." If you're the two-time defending NBA MVP, you don't leave anywhere. They come to you. That's ridiculous. I like LeBron. He's a great player. But I don't think in the history of sports you can find a two-time defending MVP leaving to go play with other people."

In a later interview, Barkley continued by saying,
"(Lebron) will never be Jordan. This clearly takes him out of the conversation. He can win as much as he wants to. There would have been something honorable about staying in Cleveland and trying to win it as 'The Man.' LeBron, if he would've won in Cleveland, and if he could've got a championship there, it would have been over the top for his legacy, just one in Cleveland. No matter how many he wins in Miami, it clearly is Dwyane Wade's team."

What do you think about their comments?

Since LeBron has joined the Miami Heat, he must find a Miami home.
But will it live up to his mansion in Akron, Ohio that had an ATM, a bowling alley, a barber shop, casino, and even a Starbucks? *who knew that was even possible?!*
The superstar is currently looking into buying the most expensive house in Coral Gables, Florida with a price tag of $49.8 mill. The mansion was once owned by former coach and current Heat General Manager Pat Riley. Once LeBron announced he was coming to Miami, the house was reportedly taken off the market.

The 20,800 square foot home has a full gym, eight bedrooms, a full basketball court, and a 12 camera security system. Here's some pics of the mega mansion....

Pretty fab right?

Drake Covers Paper Mag And Wants To Play President Obama

Drake's on the cover of Paper Magazine where he discussed his music, negativity, and President Obama. His interview plus pics when you read on....

Drake answered several questions on topics from negative blogs commentators and overexposure to keeping calm.

On his music drawing fans instead of his looks:

"It’s funny — the thing that I hear the least is ‘Drake makes bad music.’ People always have something to say about the way I look or the way I dress. People nitpick at my physical appearance more than my music, which is fine with me because when I look in the mirror, I know I’m not an unattractive person"

On playing President Obama:
"I hope somebody makes a movie about Obama’s life soon because I could play him. That’s the goal [laughs]. I watch all the addresses. Anytime I see him on TV, I don’t change the channel, I definitely pay attention and listen to the inflections of his voice. If you ask anyone who knows me, I’m pretty good at impressions. Slowly but surely, I’m not in the study mode because nobody’s called me about anything, but I just pay attention so when the day comes I’m not scrambling to learn how to speak like him. I want to be involved in great film projects. I don’t want to do the basketball movie that everyone does. I don’t want to do the typical black film that everyone expects. I think that I have enough experience to actually be involved in a real meaty project full of substance."

On keeping calm:
"I wake up and I’m scared to flip my phone over because I don’t know what songs have leaked or what some girl has said what about me. I don’t let it show because I care too much about the people around me and I need them to feel like I’m solid. No matter how much I may be going crazy inside, I always keep my composure for the sake of the people around me"

On negative blog comments:
"I definitely haven’t said this before, but I stopped going on a computer. I have a problem where if I go read a hundred positive things about me and there’s one guy in there who says ‘I hate Drake’ that’s the one I pay attention to. I think that’s a common problem. Negativity hurts us more than positivity helps us. I asked about 10 or 20 people around me, ‘When’s the last time you went on a website and commented on something, like a song dropped and you went on and said, ‘That song is hot’ or ‘That song is terrible?’ And everyone I asked around me, whose opinions I respect, the people I love, were like, ‘I’ve never done that before.’ And these are all level-headed, intelligent people whose opinion I respect, so I just started saying to myself, ‘It takes a certain type of individual to really participate in a group discussion about someone else, especially if they’re going super hard with consistent hate."

Drake's 'Thank Me Later' sold 450k in it's first week. He's working on a new mixtape called 'No More Thank You's' and his second album entitled 'Moments'.

Alicia Keys & Swizz Beatz To Wed Before The Baby Comes

So first comes marriage...after all.  Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz are planning to wed at some point this summer BUT before she gives birth.
Read on for more details about the wedding...

Grammy-winning artist Alicia Keys and record producer Swizz Beatz will definitely tie the knot this summer before the birth of their child, a source tells Life and Style magazine.
“They’re planning a celebration in Europe very soon,” an insider reveals to Life & Style.  “It will be a star-studded celebration,” with Jay-Z and Beyoncé among the celebrity guests. In fact, Alicia, who is five months pregnant, has already settled on a dress for the big day.  “She’s decided on a Vera Wang gown and has been eyeing Christian Louboutin shoes,” a second insider tells Life & Style.
What are loved ones saying about the pending union? “They make a great couple,” a close friend tells Life & Style. “They’re perfect for each other.” As for the mama and bride-to-be: “I love children and I love family,” she says. Congrats to the happy couple!

Nice to know that Swizz Beatz will soon make an honest woman out of Alicia.  But remember....Mashonda doesn't believe her. And I don't think the wedding will change a thing.

Whitney Back On Drugs? + DMX Wife To Write A Tell-All-Book

According to a source from The National Enquirer, not only is Whitney Houston back on drugs but spends up to $300K a year to keep up her habit.  More details on Whitney and DMX's wife's tell all book when you read on.
The National Enquirer states that Whitney's friends are worried about her and believe she is in a downward spiral that will take her life.
Her entourage supposedly recruited a drug dealer and bought $6,000 worth of cocaine during one of her Europe tour stops, according a person who claims they were an eye witness to the deal.
The Enquirer says according to their own in-depth investigation, Whitney has spent around $6,300 a week on drugs, which amounts to $327,600 a year.
Her friend Marlon David, a party promoter told the Enquirer:
Whitney is a dead woman walking! With the amount of drugs she’s buying, she won’t be able to live long. She’ll be dead in months.

If this is all true I really hope Whitney gets better.  It's a shame to waste all that talent, not to mention her daughter who's growing up so beautifully.

DMX's wife, Tashera Simmons, who he is currently separated from, has linked up with Aliya S. King to write a tell-all-book about her life being married to a successful music artist.
Tashera said in an interview to HipHopDX that Aliya was one of the first people to allow her to open up and that's how they formed their partnership.
In an interview with AllHipHop she clarifies exactly what type of book she's writing.
It’s not a tell-all, I want to clear that up. It’s a memoir, it’s a story about our life, my life, and our life together. My side of the story, because I feel like in his book, he didn’t really get into detail to better explain it…I think reading my book it explains everything. I’m talking about everything, from when we first met at 11 and we got together at 18 and I’m starting from there until then on…It’s a positive tell all. I’m gonna keep it 100% real, I’m more classy than [to say negative facts] if you read from the beginning to up until the point it gets crazy, you’ll kind of understand the whole story…There’s so many rumors out there, I haven’t filed [for divorce] yet, but we are separated. We are separated, it’s 20 years [we’ve been together].
The book will be called Strength of Women and she will talk about her family experiences and the work she had to do to keep her marriage together.

I don't know about yall but this is kind of sounding like a tell-all-book to me, but only time will tell.  Are any of yall gonna read it?

Rick Ross Extravagant Album Release Party And His Limited Edition Collectible Figurines

Rick Ross will be making his rounds to celebrate the release of his new album, Teflon Don along with his limited edition collectible figurines when you read on...

Newly named Ricky Rozay, better known as Rick Ross, will be throwing an extravagant release party for his highly anticipated album, Teflon Don.

The Bawse will make an appearance at a Best Buy in Pembroke Pines, FL signing autographs at an exclusive meet and greet prior to the album release party, hosted by Ross’ Maybach Music Group and Def Jam.

Before arriving to his release party at King of Diamonds, Ross will host a private meeting with a few of his most die hard fans.

Rick Ross credits his work ethic and creativity to his success in the music biz. He told AllHipHop.com, “It’s just about being creative, being flyer than you were yesterday. I wake up and try to do that. You got to switch the color of the stones up sometimes, go to new heights, you got to go above and beyond the lames…it makes for great television."

Teflon Don will hit shelves tomorrow, July 20th.

In other Rick Ross news, Def Jam has released limited edition collectible figurines of the Bawse himself in support of Teflon Don. Apparently, Ross has a passion for collecting figurines, so what better way to promote the album then to release a collectible item to accompany his album for fans.

Nice selling strategy Ricky.

Will we be collecting limited edition Rick Ross figurines along with the album?
