REP CONFIRMS: Alicia Keys & Swizz Beatz Welcome Baby Boy!

Break out the cigars and incense!  Rumors hit the net earlier today, but we awaited an official confirmation.  Now a rep for Mr. and Mrs. Dean has finally confirmed.  The couple has welcomed their brand new baby boy into the world today.

It's definitely a baby boy for Alicia Keys & Swizz "Kasseem Dean" Beatz.  In a statement to People.com, the couple's rep confirms:
"[Alicia and Swizz] have joyfully welcomed their first child, a son Egypt Daoud Dean on Oct. 14 in New York City."
Looks like that walk of hers yesterday got the baby dropping started.
Baby Egypt joins 3 siblings--2 brothers and a sister--who are Swizzy's children from previous relationships.  Swizz tweeted late last night about how lucky he has been with the blessings in his life.  And friend of the couple, Mary J. Blige, tweeted a congratulatory message to the newlyweds.
The couple married this past August in Corsica in a private and intimate ceremony.  Can't wait to see these baby pics.  Congrats to the couple!

Nelly released the album artwork for his new album and we have it below:

Wow. Impressive. So different. Nelly wears a crisp white tee, a loosened belt on his denim jeans, and a pair of shades.  The album is named partially after his favorite car, [The Mustang] 5.0. 

The St. Louis rapper recently shot a clip for his next single, the Dr. Luke-produced "Move That Body"  featuring T-Pain and Akon, and has lined up appearances on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," and “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” and “Chelsea Lately” during his release week.

BREAKING NEWS: T.I. Gets ELEVEN Months In Jail, Admits To Drug Addiction

This just in--rapper T.I. was sentenced to 11-months in jail for violating his probation. Details inside...

T.I., government name - Clifford Harris, appeared before U.S. District Judge Charles Pannell Jr. at 2 p.m. today.  He was joined by his six attorneys, including Don Samuel, Ed Garland, Steve Sadow, Janice Capek, Kristen Wright and Dwight Thomas.  Seems like he hired everyone in ATL except Phaedra from "Real Housewives of Atlanta".
Anyway, remember that T.I. was still on probation for federal weapons charges when he was arrested Sept. 1 on drug charges in Los Angeles.  He was out of jail for all of 3 minutes before he made the biggest illegal u-turn of his life.
His probation officer alleged that T.I. committed three violations of his supervised release from prison: possessing ecstasy, testing positive for opiates and associating with a convicted felon. Tip was then ordered to appear in court today.

T.I. had been released from federal custody in March after serving a yearlong sentence in prison and a halfway house. After his arrest on federal gun charges, T.I.'s legal team brokered an extraordinary plea agreement that allowed him to shave about four years off his prison time on the condition he perform 1,000 hours of community service telling kids about the pitfalls of crime, drugs and gangs.
T.I. completed his community service and got the sentence he wanted. But he was still on probation when he was arrested at the traffic stop on Sept. 1.

Damn homie.  So how are he and Tiny going to explain this to the kids tonight?  And P.S. I guess the suicide "stunt" didn't work at all.
UPDATE:  Sources in the courtroom say T.I. begged the judge not to send him back to prison, and admited that he needed to get help for drug addiction. He told the judge he "screwed up" and plead for mercy.

In other music news, guess who's about to cop a top of the line luxury car check?  How many countless rappers mention the Aston Martin in their songs knowing they'e not getting broke off for the free pub?
Well, Swizz Beatz isn't among that group anymore.  The folks at Aston Martin have hired him to oversee a design one of their cars. Sweet.  Does it come with a "sample" of your own work?  Nice work if you can get it....

Keri Hilson & Nicki Minaj Set For "2010 VH1 Divas: Salute The Troops"

VH1 has announced the lineup for this year's "Divas" special, and there are a few surprises.  Find out who's slated to be on the show inside...
For its ninth installment, "VH1 Divas" will be paying tribute to America's troops all around the world and their families. The special is produced in partnership with the USO and will showcase performances by Katy Perry, Nicki Minaj, Keri Hilson, Sugarland and Paramore. I'm tempted to ask who the divas are...but I'll let it slide.
Katy, Nicki, and Keri will join Sugarland at Marine Corps Air Station Miramar in San Diego.  Paramore will perform and visit with military members at an undisclosed base in the Middle East.
Miss Keri seems very excited to take part in the event, which has honored YBF divas like Diana Ross, and Aretha Franklin in the past. 
"I get to be among so many other influential women, groundbreaking women, strong, powerful, confident women, not only on that day, but just to be a part of the legacy of 'VH1 Divas," she said.
The show, which also raises money for music programs at public school, will include commentary from the troops who are stationed at the front lines. VH1 says more featured artists will be announced in the coming weeks. Loves the troops, but won't be twidling my thumbs waiting for this one.
"2010 VH1 Divas: Salute The Troops" will air at 9 p.m. ET/PT on December 5 on VH1.

The nude pics of Kanye are apparently from his old Myspace days before he became famous.  Sources say he sent them to several women and they've been floating around for a while.  According to Radar Online, one pic shows Kanye from the chest up in sunglass and a gold chain. A second pic shows him exposing his genitals from his boxer briefs. Classy.
In a semi-recent magazine interview, Kanye said he contemplated posing naked to "break every rule of hip-hop".

"It's like Björk, if she wanted to pose naked, you'd be like, 'Oh, that's Björk. But if I wanted to pose naked, people would draw all type of things into it. I definitely feel like, in the next however many years, if I work out for two months, that I'll pose naked."

Um, ok 'Ye.  Armed with this new infomation...are you ready to see a nekkid Kanye West?
