Louis Vuitton’s menswear head Paul Helbers walked an unorthodox line when theming Louis Vuitton’s Fall/Winter 2011 collection. The inspirations were derived from the muted palettes of the Amish and the sensibilities of American creative David Lynch. The collection itself was a subtle affair with the only real use of color featured in “Motel Red,” which offered a strong juxtaposition amongst more than just color.

Nicki Minaj Kicked Out Of Her London Hotel!

Nicki Minaj has just been kicked out of her hotel in London.  We've got pics of her leaving in a dizzying jumpsuit, and arriving at her new hotel in white dress and multicolored wig.  Deets inside....

We reported earlier that Nicki Minaj was experiencing problems with the hotel where she was staying due to the large number of fans lingering around the premises.  Well...the hotel head honchos finally got fed up and kicked her out.
Earlier today, managers at the Dorchester Hotel cut Nicki’s stay short after her "young" fans caused a disruption on the grounds.  Pics as she left the hotel:

Looks like November was a big month for more than just Monica and Shannon Brown.  44-year-old Eric Benet popped the question to his fab girlfriend.
"During a romantic dinner, I decided to finally let Manuela hear 'Never Want to Live Without You," a song off my new album that I had written for her," Benet tells UsMagazine.com. "I sang it to her, then got down on one knee and proposed."
Sweet.  They've reportedly set a summer wedding.

Fans Boo Venus Williams As She Withdraws From The Australian Open + Antoine Dodson Lands His Own Reality Show!

Venus Williams was greeted with a round of boos, from the audience, as she withdrew from the Australian Open due to injury.  Get the deets inside.  Plus, run tell DIS....Antoine Dodson is coming to reality tv.   Deets inside....

Venus Williams was forced to withdraw from the Australian Open yesterday after injuring a hip flexor muscle in the previous round.

“I mean, it’s super disappointing because this is just not how I envisioned my Australian Open being. I’ve never had to retire from a Grand Slam, especially after working so hard to pull out the match the other day. Just hoping for some magic that I could recover. But I have peace of mind that I really gave more than my best out there.”

Just for her own self-presevation, it was great that Venus left the match.  But the crowd didn't feel that way.  As she walked through the tunnel back to the locker room, she was met with a smattering of boos and whistles.  Folks were upset that they had paid top dollar for tickets to the two night-session singles matches and seen only three sets. 
The tournament director, Craig Tiley, had scheduled Venus Williams and Andrea Petkovic last, hoping to give Venus a chance to recover, but her mother and coach, Oracene Price, said she did not think Williams should have competed at all. 
Venus has been dealing with a lot of injuries including tendinitis in both knees in recent years and a sprained left kneecap last year.
Venus may be out the tournament, but she made it clear that she had no intention of retirement in general.

“Well, I’m still pretty good, even when I’m injured.  I mean, at the Open, I came pretty close to winning that tournament just on a hope and a prayer and little to no preparation. Here, you know, I was grinding. So I’m just going to focus obviously on getting healthy and coming back. Because I love tennis, and I’ve got a lot of great tennis in me. I love my job, so no end in sight.”

And in television news...

Antoine Dodson continues down the road to worldwide domination.  He started out as a young man in the projects, then became an internet sensation. What's the next stop?  TV superstar of course.  TMZ reports that Antoine is shooting a pilot for a reality show produced by Entertainment One with actress Kali Hawk (remember their milkshake run?) as executive producer.
The unnamed show will focus on Antoine moving out of Alabama and over to West Hollywood. No network has signed onto the project yet, but with Antoine's lucky streak, it could land on one of the big four networks.

Nicki Minaj Goes Solar In London, Almost Gets EVICTED From Hotel Due To Swarming Barbz?!

Nicki Minaj rocked a striking solar system dress as she left the Dorchester hotel in London last night. She got swamped by her Barbz and Kenz on her way to Oceana nightclub.  And she almost got put out of her hotel....AND couldn't get into the next club.

Ms. Minaj was out of this world in a solar system dress and Gucci boots as she left her hotel last night.  The "Young Money" star is currently on a short promotional visit to London for her debut album Pink Friday and tweeted saying that the hotel was threatening to ask her to leave as her fans and Barbz were all camping outside the hotel.  She posted:
Ugh! The lonon barbz r giving me life! They're so passionate. They're still @ the hotel. The hotel is threatening to kick me out.’

I mean, I'm sure folks were swarming and all, but legends like Mariah and Prince and others draw a crowd like you couldn't believe when they stay the Dorchester on many occasions.  And they don't seem to get put out.  Just sayin'.

Nicki and her galaxy inspired mini dress were headed to Oceana nightclub for a special guest appearance, But she reportedly was then prevented from entering a nightclub called Runway after there was security issues.  Afterwards she tweeted:
"Had a blast @ oceana! Security issues r now preventing us from entering runway...".

Monica Dishes Her & Shannon Brown's Secret Wedding Details!

Monica's thrown in her 2 cents about her and Shannon Brown's secret wedding.  And she even dished that they're working on a baby together.

Monica confirmed what her husband already did--she and Shannon got married November 22nd after meeting a little over a month prior on the set of her "Love All Over Me" video.  And she says they did so in their L.A. home with only 2 witnesses present.  Sweet.
She sent HipHollywood.com this statement:

"This is a very special time in my life. I am blessed to have married the man that God sent me, he's loving, compassionate, strong and supportive of my children, family and career. I look forward to our lives together."

Monica says they are having their public ceremony this July and she's working on finishing her new album New Life also due out this summer.  And Shannon is working on his business and getting a 3-peat championship with the Lakers.
Mo also revealed that they may want to extend their own family this summer once Shannon's season is over.  Is she already preggers?  Or will they start trying in the off season?  Did Kris Jenner get in Mo's ear on the sidelines of one of those games telling her she could get the twosome a reality show?  Time will tell...

Nike Dunk High Premium

After showing the black pinstriped Dunk High earlier today, we now dive into another edition of Nike’s popular model for Spring 2011 which looks to be part of the same set that ties back into the French National Team pack. The shoes feature a denim construction with an off-white leather heel panel, blue/white/red pull tab and white midsoles. For those interested, they are available to purchase now through Titolo.

Nike Sportswear Dunk High Pinstripe

Initially spotted mid last year, Nike Sportswear releases a new pinstripe Dunk High Supreme for Spring 2011. Featuring a mostly black base, the shoes take on white pinstriping throughout the entire uppers accented with a blue/white/red ribbon heel tab that also features a silver rooster emblem, likely a release that ties in to the French National Team. No other details are available on the drop but these are now in stock via Proper.

Gourmet Nove Leather

Gourmet recently announced the forthcoming reappearance of its Nove model. Replacing the usually present suede, the latest Nove designs are dressed in a thick leather upper. Designed in three colorways, all have a rugged exterior and are color-matched by their respective laces.
