And Lil' Wayne appears in the latest issue of ROLLING STONE Magazine talking about his time in prison and its impact on his life.
Weezy was released from jail in November after serving 242 days in protective custody (which he calls "Punk City") for attempted criminal possession of a weapon.  He calls the charge "bull----."
Fans will be surprised to read that Wayne says the hardest part of the process was being deprived of conjugal visits.  And he became so good at the card game Uno, that he often walked away at the end of the night with a bed full of commissary goods or someone else's phone-use privileges.
While there, he said he read a lot, mainly biographies ranging from Jimi Hendrix to Vince Lombardi, but also he slipped in a lot of Confucius and the whole Bible.  Asked about the Bible, he said, "It was deep!"
And his "guest list" included a who's who of hip-hop royalty from Sean (Diddy) Combs and Nicki Minaj to Kanye West.  He even received a call from former Jets quarterback Brett Favre telling him to "Keep your head up."
Asked about the overall process of being locked up, Wayne said,

"Not to use the word 'easy' - but it wasn't difficult as people might think.  There's difficulty - mentally, just waking up every damn day in that mother------. But once you get over that, it's all good."

Reggae Artist Vybz Kartel Bleaches His Skin, Says It's No Different Than Tanning!

Formerly brown-skinned reggae artist Vybz Kartel is walking around about five shades lighter to the shock and dismay of his fans.  Get the deets on how Vybz went from cocoa to butter pecan inside...

Vybz Kartel, a Jamaican Reggae and dancehall artist, recently lightened his skin and it's not going over well with his fans.  For his part, Vybz says his skin lightening is similar to tanning.  SMH.
When asked about the change Vybz replied,

"This is my new image.  You can expect the unexpected. I feel comfortable with black people lightening their skin. They want a different look. It's tantamount to white people getting a sun tan."

Although he won't reveal what he is using to change his complexion, some sources say that his newly endorsed brand of cake soap can lighten the skin.  But even that is up for debate since fellow artist, Bounty Killer, claims his own mother has used Vybz's cake soap and her skin has not changed.

Drake Gets Shirtless

Well damn.  After getting made fun of this week for some older not-so-flattering shirtless pics of him hitting the net, Drake decided to take matters into his own pants, er....hands.  But not everyone is convinced it is him.

Drake's been in London performing with J.Cole.  So Drizzy released this pic of himself working out shirtless and showing off his package.  Check out the pleasant surprise when you read on....

Some folks say this isn't Drake....and his Twitter timeline does not have this pic on it.  Supposedly he made it his avatar earlier this morning.  But could it have been removed?

Seems as though actor and relationship expert Hill Harper may be in the midst of a brand new relationship. He's been spotted out and about with video vixen Dollicia Bryan, whom he met while shooting a movie with Meagan Good, which comes out at the end of the year.
Sources say sparks flew on the set and the two have been seen at dinners and out on dates together for the past four months in LA.
Hill recently raved about Dollicia on his Twitter page saying,

Just ate at my girl @DolliciaB 's house & She's just not a pretty face w/ the sexiest...She can throw down in the kitchen!!!

Nicki Minaj and all her alter egos were spotted leaving her central London Dorchester hotel yesterday ahead of her series of secret shows she just kicked off in the city.  And what better way to say wassup to your British fans than to rock an extra pink 80's look--complete with a  curly pink slanted hi-top fade and pink printed jumpsuit and huge earrings.

Interesting. She was on her way to BBC Radio 1 to do some press.

Jay-Z Hits The Nets Game+Jennifer Hudson Flaunts Her Figure For DISNEY & Dishes Wedding Details

Jennifer Hudson rocked a cute nude dress and flats for the kick off celebration of Disney's huge new Disney Dream cruise ship yesterday in Orlando.  We've got pics of her, her dishing about her upcoming wedding, and pics of Jay-Z chillin' at the Nets game, when you read on....

Lookin' uber cute Jenny.  She posed with Walt Disney Company president and CEO Robert A. Iger (middle), Walt Disney Parks and Resorts chairman Thomas O. Staggs (right) and a ceremonial bottle of Champagne at the christening ceremony for the new "Disney Dream" cruise ship at Port Canaveral, Florida yesterday.
The Dream is the newest Disney Cruise Line ship and will have its maiden voyage January 26. And Jenny, who actually used to perform on a Disney cruise ship pre-"Idol"--has been named the "godmother" for the "Disney Dream" ship. Sweet!
A few weeks ago at the Gem awards, Jenny dished on her Neil Lane wedding jewels and pending nuptials to David Otunga.
On her wedding dress and wedding details:
“Everything is already set.  We already have our wedding bands and everything made, and Neil Lane made them.  I designed [my dress] myself. I did. It has its own show. It is a show, so it has to have its own moment with special lighting and everything, and theme music. Oh, I am so serious.  It’s white. That’s the color, in keeping with tradition. Baby came first, but hey.

Oh my God, [planning] is so hard, and then the bride has to make all the decisions, and that’s a lot of pressure. It’s like ‘I don’t know what I want!’

Jay-Z laughed it up courtside with his good friend Steve Stoute at the Nets game.  He watched his team end a 6 game losing streak and beat the Utah Jazz.
By the way, Jay is supposedly teaming up with Will Smith for an "Annie" remake with Willow.  That'll be interesting...

Gabrielle Union has responded to pregnancy rumors that started yesterday after video footgae of her toasting her boyfriend D- Wade and sporting a suspicious rounded belly hit the net.  Find out her response inside...

Call off the Preggers Watch.  Gabby said she aint getting knocked up until she gets married.  Global Grind spoke to Ms. Union about the possible pregnancy, and she responded,

"No, I am not pregnant and please let the world know I will only be pregnant after I am married, and that will be years from now. I want to play roles that let me wear a bikini and run around like a badass! LOL It's kinda hard to do all that with a baby bump!"

She continued,

"When erroneous reports of pregnancy pop up for different actors or artists, that can stop us from getting work...it's hard enough in this recession trying to find a job without our own people putting up unnecessary roadbloacks for us to feed our families."

Raz B Claims Yung Joc Beat His Brother's A$$

In other news, Raz-B's ish talking instigating brother, Ricky Romance, got beat up...again.  He was on his way to perform (perform?  seriously?) at the the Salute the DJ's Award Show in ATL.  And he says rapper Yung Joc's people responsible for this.  TMZ reports:

According to Ricky, Joc's security team stopped Raz in his tracks and refused to let him perform -- all because Raz publicly dissed Yung Joc in a song a few months ago.
Ricky tells us he tried to help get his brother past the hired muscle ... but Joc's security wasn't having it -- and roughed him up pretty bad instead.
Ricky claims he suffered some nasty cuts to his head during the melee -- before he and Raz were both forcefully thrown out of the Atrium Event Center.

This type of foolery needs to end. Stat.

The Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival in Indio, Calif., will run from April 15 to 17 for its 12th installment and features Kanye West as headliner.  Other notable YBF performers include Lauryn Hill, Cee Lo Green, Nas and Damian Marley, and Erykah Badu. 
 Three-day passes for the festival cost $269 plus fees, and camping passes are $75. Tickets go on sale Friday at 1 p.m. Eastern time through coachella.com.

Supermodel and bad girl Jessica White has landed her own reality show.  The show will begin filiming around fashion week in New York and will follow Ms. White and her "colorful" friends around, circa "Entourage."
Hmm.  If she can get bad girl Naomi Campbell to make an appearance I will surely watch.
