MUSIC FAB: Kanye Reveals Album Title & Details

Kanye West took to his Twitter today to reveal the deets about his new album dropping next month.  It took forever, but now we know the title and the singles that will be on it.

Kanye is over in Paris working on the album packaging, designs, and screening his new movie short.  But he took a little time to let his fans know the official deets.  So much for the Good Ass Job title.  'Ye's official album titile is My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy.  I already see where this one's going...
He also revealed that his next single will be "All of the Lights".  He said even though that track leaked, he's still putting it (along with some of his other Friday leaks) on the album.
Another single will be "Dark Fantasy", produced by himself, RZA, and No ID. 
His album now drops November 22nd.  It's odd to drop on a Monday, but Ms. Minaj drops the next day.  This ought to be interesting....

So 50 Cent Is Now Having "Private Time" With...Chelsea Handler?!

I see all types of foolishness is popping off in Hollywood today.  50 Cent was caught spending some suspiciously intimate time with our fave chick on the E! channel Chelsea Handler down in New Orleans last night.

And we all know her affection for rappers.  The pic of the...twosome...when you read on...

Apparently there's been some dating rumors about these two.  I must have missed the memo.  I guess Chels thinks her main crush T.I. is headed back to the slammer, so she needs new boo.  TMZ copped a pic of Chelsea and 50 chillin' at Blue Nile Jazz Bar.
Chelsea was in the N.O. doing her stand-up comedy show.  And 50 was there as well.  He hopped on the mic to do an impromtu performance with the house band. Whatever keeps the tongues wagging....

Nicki Minaj Hits Up "Letterman" + Lil' Wayne Tossed In Solitary Confinement!

Meanwhille, news out of Rikers Island-- Lil' Wayne was recently placed in solitary confinement for listening to his music.  WTF?  He wasn't fighting, doing drugs or sneaking phone calls - but "working" on his talent and craft.  But violating the rules is violating the rules.  Earphones and music contraband is illegal at Rikers.  And he was caught with it.
Weezy will be confined to an isolation cell for up to 23 hours a day until his scheduled release on Nov. 5th, a Rikers Island source said.
Mr. Carter was caught with headphones and a charger for an MP3 player back in May and another inmate was found to be hiding the MP3 player itself.  So the infraction itself happened in May, but Weezy is only being punished now because a spot in solitary confinement just opened up on Monday.  I see Rikers Island is more packed than Eddie Long's pews two Sundays ago.
Lil' Wayne was sentenced to a one-year sentence on the Island for getting caught with a loaded gun on his tour bus. And now he won't get any social activities in jail outside of one recreation hour a day and one personal phone call a week.  I am sure he is eagerly anticipating his release.  Seems like a rough living to me.

Salt-N-Pepa were the honorees of the evening.  And the ladies looked fab accepting their award.

Funny man Mike Epps kept the audience laughing.  He even wore a pair of extra tight jeans and then went off on all the "tight jean boys."

You could not get away from Nicki as she appeared at the podium several times throughout the evening.

And Diddy hit the stage with Rick Ross.

Trina was all smiles posing with Trey Songz.  How do we feel about this new hair color?  A sudden red change up eh?

was chillin' all night.

Swizz Beatz and Gucci Mane performed "It's Gucci Time" together.

Soulja Boy hit the stage.

UPDATE: Mario's Arrest Linked To Mom's Drug Addiction

As we previously reported, this past Friday morning, singer Mario was arrested for assaulting his mother in her Baltimore home. We've got more details as to what really happened when you read on...
Mario's lawyer has blamed Mario's mother's irrational behavior for "an unfortunate incident between a loving son and a mother who continues to struggle with a devastating addiction."
None of us are shocked this situation was related to the drug use in some way.
Mario was charged with second degree assault after police were called to Shawntia Hardaway's Baltimore apartment. She alerted the authorities that Mario, 24, was inside her apartment damaging property. According to police, Shawntia claims Mario started yelling at her and pushed her in her chest which caused minor pain. A broken china cabinet, mirror and busted door were also discovered at the scene.
"Anyone who has waged the battle to save loved ones from the forces of drugs knows the irrational behavior that almost always accompanies their actions," said Hassan Murphy, Mario's Baltimore attorney, on Saturday. "Despite the allegations, Mario remains committed to supporting his mother."
Sad. However, problems between Mario and his mother stem way back. In 2007, Mario's turbulent relationship with his heroin-addicted mother was filmed for a documentary called "I Won't Love You to Death: The Story of Mario and His Mom."
Mario took to Twitter this morning to thank his fans for all their support during this time.

Hopefully these family issues can be resolved. Having a drug addicted family member can bring out the worst in people who have really just had enough.

BLACK CARPET FAB: The 2010 BET Hip-Hop Awards

The BET Hip-Hop Awards 2010 was last night and we've got the black carpet pics.  Diggy Simmons, Souljah Boy, Toya Carter, Nelly and The St. Lunatics,  when you go inside....
The show went down in Atlanta at the Civic Center.  Not everybody walked the black carpet, but here's who did:

Wassup Diggy?  LOVES this kid.

Musiq posed with Meelah, formerly of 702.  Did we miss their couple status?  I'd love a duet from them.

And host Mike Epps brought along his lovely wife to watch him do his thing.

And BET hostess Mo'nique hit the red carpet with husband Sidney Hicks.  I see the hair on those legs is still in full-effect too.  If they like it...

And her fellow BET co-worker Terrence J, host of "106 & Park" wasn't far behind.

Roc-a-who?  Fresh from his Twitter "feud" with Jay-Z, MC Hammer stepped out in his tight white hip-hop gear.

Do what you want with your own money but Gucci Mane....the blinged out camera?  I wonder if it works. 

Now you would expect Birdman to have a blinged out something on but he looks surprisingly bling free.

Gorilla Zoe looked like he went to the awards and then planned to help them breakdown the stage and set.

I think Diamond--formerly of Crime Mob and Scrappy's boo--is a pretty girl. But not sure about the hair coloring.  Doesn't flatter her skin tone.

Twista rocked a hot bomber jacket.  Nice vintage leather look.

The New Boyz came out looking preppy fab.  Nice.  Don't know why but I like them.

Roscoe Dash also rocked a starched hip-hop preppy look.  I so prefer this to pants saggin' all the way to the ankles.  Rappers take notice.

Waka Flocka Flame has been hitting the studio AND the Golden Corral.

Not sure why Eise Neal felt the need to make an appearance at this event.  Seems out of place for some reason.

This is an ok look for the "hip-hop" awards. Cuter than her usual video vixen looks have been. Lola Monroe matched a cute dress with combat boots.  Not a horrible idea.  But she should have polished them.
