Lauryn Hill Keeps Fans Waiting Four Hours+Sneak Peek At Nicki Minaj's "Moment For Life" Vid

Lauryn Hill recently showed up very late to a concert in Brooklyn, then berated fans who complained by saying, "I personally know I'm worth the wait."  Get the deets inside, plus a sneak peek at Nicki Minaj's new video...


Lauryn Hill performed a concert at Brooklyn's Music Hall of Williamsburg last night, but kept her fans waiting all night.  The concert was scheduled to start at 8pm, but Ms. Hill didn't grace the stage until after midnight.  Can you imagine a four hour wait?  Well she told the crowd, "If you're unhappy you'e more than welcome to go back and get a refund.  There's a lot that goes into this."
A New York Times writer wrote:

"Two fans in the front row hand-wrote signs: “You Just Lost One,” “This Is Insulting.” One of the keyboard players taped a reply on his kit: “I Was on Time.” When Ms. Hill finally took the stage a little after midnight — a few minutes after arriving at the club and getting carried over piles of snow on the street, one witness reported — she was primed for a fight. “Don’t do that. That’s disrespectful,” she told the fans with the signs, motioning with her finger to the exit at the back of the room, where she suggested they go.
To the crowd she was both thankful and indignantly apologetic. “I spent my entire 20s sacrificing my life to give you love. So when I hear people complain, I don’t know what to tell you,” she said. “I personally know I’m worth the wait.” ... After her first song, a lithe, pretty cover of Bob Marley’s “Forever Loving Jah,” she finally yanked the sign off her keyboard player’s kit, telling him: “You trying to escape the bottles and the cups. Next time you take it, you take it like a man. We in this together, brother.”

Lauryn feels because she gave up so much during her 20s...we owe her with our time.  Hmph.  I guess people less talented have had way more diva moments.  But damn.

Remember when Kanye West and Irv Gotti were comparing Nicki to Lauryn Hill and saying she was going to be the next "greatest?"  Well I hope Nicki doesn't go the diva way of Lauryn and start disrespecting her fans.  So far...she seems to be enjoying her "moment."

Ashanti & Nelly Get Frisky On New Year's Eve

To be "just friends" these two surely are...extra friendly.  Ashanti was Nelly's edible date for the Vegas New Year's Eve party he hosted at Haze nightclub Friday night.

Oprah's OWN Network debuted a show called "Master Class: Jay-Z" that focused on Jay-Z's childhood, his success, and how he uses his life as a master class to inspire others.  Watch the video inside...

The OWN network is finally here.   It kicked off on New Year's Day and with a bang.  "Master Class" on Oprah's Network looks at the life of a successful individual and follows how that person passes along lessons they have learned to others.  On Jay-Z's episode, Oprah says that the biggest lesson Jay-Z has to pass on was his ability to transcend a negative environment and live his best life

Ok ok. We shouldn't laugh at the chil'ren when they're acting out. But this ish is fun-ty. Chris Brown apparently spoofed Raz B.'s brother, Ricky Romance, after Ricky put out a threat on Chris' life via video the other day.

Despite the fact both Chris and Raz have issued their "apologies" for the fu*kery that was this Twitter beef, this video found its way on the net. Read on to see before it gets yanked....
Maybe Chris made this before his Sorry 2010 apology last week.  Or not.  Either way, we're doing our damndest not to laugh.
