Air Jordan 1 Armour Cranberry

Here’s a detailed look at the latest colorway of the Air Jordan I, Armour edition. Featuring a metallic Cranberry upper, the shoe is somewhat reminiscent of the Iron Man suit. The shoe itself features an injection-molded Foamposite shell, similar to Nike’s popular line of performance models. The shoe should prove comfortable with its thick black ankle-padding, which matches the black midsole. Finished with a white outsole the Armour Cranberry is scheduled for a December release.

Supra Society “Rising Sun” Quickstrike

Supra presents a new quickstrike colorway in its Society model, dubbed the “Rising Sun”. Obviously paying homage to Japan, the Terry Kennedy signature design features a colorway inspired by the Japanese flag as well as the country’s influence on the global sneaker culture. Sporting a red/white combo, the main focus comes via an interesting textured upper, paired with canvas detailing on the straps and heel panel. For those interested, these are now available in limited quantities through select Supra stockists worldwide.

Billionaire Boys Club Brown’s Jacket

Billionaire Boys Club pays homage to the Brown’s Beach Jacket Co. by producing a replica – inspired in terms of both style and fabric – of the brand’s timeless jacket design. Produced with slight contemporary alterations, standout details including the recognizable thick woolen trim, two tone weave, and signature “Space Beach” gold buttons. Established in Rhode Island in 1927 and heralded the jacket that “kept Admiral Byrd warm at the South pole”, Browns Beach is regarded as one of the earliest examples of technical wear. Named as the ‘favourite of the outdoorsmen for over 60 years’ in a 1967 advertisement, Browns Beach (styling Mr. Brown, fabric by Mr. Beach) today remains a highly collectible and sought after label. Made from a heavy wool in a herringbone weave, the unique two-ply effect keeps out the cold and damp whilst hugging the body like a sweater. Available now through BBC/Ice Cream stores.

size? x SNS x Puma Dallas Preview

Part 4 on the list of releases from the PUMA Reaction Packs is this effort in conjunction with Swedish retailer Sneakers N Stuff, on the terrace favorite Dallas. The SNS crew take inspiration from the Swedish military issue M90 camouflage canvas and kept things as basic and clean as you’d like with zero interference, letting the rich green material take all the plaudits. Size?‘s Dallas design reverses the fatigued look to the formal military dress code, paying tribute to the colors used on the world famous Royal Marines dress uniform, with deep navy and bright red contrasting nicely alongside the gold lining. A release for both is set for November 13th, 2010, with each limited to 150 pairs worldwide.
