adidas 2011 NBA All-Star Limited Edition Jerseys

adidas and the NBA launch limited edition, commemorative boxed jerseys for the 2011 NBA All-Star Game to honor a selection of the game’s top stars. In true red carpet Hollywood fashion, each premium black lacquered box top features a gold plated 2011 NBA All-Star logo. The inside of the box features black felt lining and “Los Angeles 2011″ in gold cursive along with a gold plated certificate of authenticity etched to read that each jersey was built to the exact specifications of the players’ on-court NBA All-Star jersey. Similar to the 2011 NBA All-Star Uniforms, the jerseys feature an integrated diamond pattern that stands out under the arena lights to pay tribute to the diamond anniversary (60th game) of the NBA All-Star Game.
The stars on the back of the jersey collar signify the number of NBA All-Star appearances for each player . The number of limited edition commemorative boxes made is based on the number of NBA All-Star appearances of each player: Dwight Howard (5), Derrick Rose (2), LeBron James (7), Dwyane Wade (7), Carmelo Anthony (4), Kevin Durant (2) and Kobe Bryant (13). Nike SB drops another quickstrike this month as we see the arrival of a denim Dunk High. The kicks feature a subtle approach with two colors of denim featured on the uppers alongside black outsoles and white midsoles. Look for these, along with the rest of Nike SB’s February drops, now through select SB dealers, including Premier.

Nike Air Foamposite One

After a long hiatus the Nike Air Foamposite One makes its return in Spring 2011 as Nike introduces a retro version of the popular Penny Hardaway design, first released in 1997. Done up in the trademark royal blue colorway, the kicks instantly evoke a 90s nostalgia, arguably Nike’s greatest era for basketball sneakers. This particular release should be a big one for sneaker heads and Foamposite fans alike. A release is scheduled for February 12 at Nice Kicks, amongst other fine Nike stockists. Retail is set at $200 USD, unfortunately a $20 price hike from the original release price.

Prince Kicks Kim Kardashian Off Stage! + Trey Songz Sued For $18 Million For Ripping Off "Bottoms Up"

The Artist Still Known As Prince recently invited reality star Kim Kardashian to join him on stage during a recent concert in New York.  But when Kim wouldn't get into the groove on stage, his royal purpleness kicked her off!  See the video and pics from the show inside, plus get the deets on Trey Songz and his manager being sued  for $18 million for stealing the song "Bottoms Up."

Cee-Lo was the opening act as Prince and his "Welcome 2 America" Tour swept through Madison Square Garden in NYC last night.

And we are loving the gold sparkles.

Later on during the show, Prince had a surprise for the audience.

As he stopped through and got the room rocking, he invited a few of his fans on stage. And who wouldn't be excited to dance with Prince?!

Kim K to answer that question.  He brought Kim on stage and the girl wouldn't move! We all know she's a bit stuff when it comes to moving the hips.  Can you imagine being invited to dance with Prince....and not taking that opportunity? All she had to do was sway from side to side. At least fake it Kim damn!  Shouldn't be that hard for you...

But Prince was not bothered.....he kicked her off the stage. Womp Womp.

She went back to sit with her Nets baller boo Kris Humphries.
In other music news...

Derrick Price, Doc Mob Records and IHip Hop Music have filed an $18 million lawsuit over the rights to the music on the hit song "Bottoms Up."  The lawsuit names Trey Songz, Atlantic Records, Kodak, manager Gee Robertson, producer Kane Beatz and others.
Filed on February 2nd in New York city, the suit claims that Doc Mob hired producer Milton James aka "Tony Scales" to produce the original, copyrighted track for "Bottoms Up" for his company, Doc Mob Records. The suit further claims that track was produced in Derrick's home studio.
After Milton allowed Kane Beatz to add production to the song, it eventually ended up on Trey Songz'  album Passion, Pain and Pleasure.  Having a hit song on a hit album should have been exciting for Doc Mob; however, the album only lists Kane Beatz as producer of the song.  Womp Womp.
Doc Mob's Derrick Price says he sent multiple cease-and-desist letters to Atlantic Records and Trey Songz, but they were ignored.  And now Kodak has been added to the $18 million dollar lawsuit, because they used the song in an advertising campaign featuring Trey Songz.
SMH.  Since Derrick has a copyrighted version for "Bottoms Up," it looks like he has a good case.  And whoever ignored those cease-and-desist letters may be looking for a job soon....

Beyonce To Headline The Glastonbury Festival!?

The Queen B may be dancing atop a pyramid...or The Pyramid Stage rather, as the headlining act of the Glastonbury Festival on Sunday night.  Get the deets inside...

Rumor has it that Beyonce will join U2 and Coldplay as the main acts at the legendary Glastonbury Festival in Somerset, South West England.  You might remember her hubby Jay-Z headlined in the same Sunday spot in 2008 for the fest. 
Though it is not completely set in stone, Chris Martin and Coldplay will reportedly fill the Friday night slot, while U2 will take to the stage on Saturday.
As for Beyonce, Glasto founder Michael Eavis recently hinted at Beyoncé's involvement at the festival, previously stating: "There’s an American artist that I’ve been wanting to have for years and yonks and yonks and yonks.”
And as the "big get," Beyonce would close out the fest on Sunday.  We will keep you posted....

Rihanna To Perform For NBA All-Star Game's Halftime Show + Dorrough Arrested After DEA Raid

Please have all of your snacks pre-fixed for the NBA All-star game this year, because Rihanna has just been announced as the entertainment.  Get the deets inside plus find out who's the latest rapper  arrested after a home raid.


World-wide pop star Rihanna has just been announced as the headliner of the NBA All-Star Game airing live from LA's Staples Center, next Sunday (Feb. 20).
So what can we expect from the the bombshell performer?  Of course she isn't going to give up all the details but RiRi did take to Twitter to say, "I get the entire halftime show @ NBA All-Star Weekend!"
But the star power doesn't stop there.  Singer Keri Hilson and Bruno Mars have been added to the pre-show line-up, hosted by Nick Cannon.  They will perform on a special Magenta T-Mobile carpet, celebrating the 60th anniversary of the cell-phone company.

"T-Mobile will host several events leading up to All-Star that will give our customers the chance to experience the excitement first-hand, either through attending Magenta Carpet or going to one of the games," T-Mobile Vice President of Marketing, John Clelland, told Billboard.com.

The game and pre-show will air on TNT beginning at 5PM EST, while the All-Star Game begins at 8PM.

Jennifer Hudson revealed her album cover for I Remember Me today.  The photo was shot by famed photographer Anthony Mandler and the album itself will be released on March 22nd on Arista Records.
And on Thursday, Jennifer will make the worldwide television debut performance of her new single “Where You At” on "The Oprah Show."
And following that performance, be sure to catch Jennifer this Sunday on the Grammy telecast where she will pay tribute to Aretha Franklin.  I'm sure that will be a classic.
