Keri Hilson is gearing up to release her sophomore album called No Boys Allowed.  And we've got her new promo pic and very first single "Breaking Point" off the new album when you read on...

Peep the track before it hits the radio airwaves:

“Breaking Point” was written by Keri Hilson and produced by super producer Timbaland.  And it sounds like she's trying to give the ladies an anthem. No Boys Allowed is slated for a Late 2010 release and a video for the song will be shot in Atlanta early September. The song is about that breaking point that every woman gets to when the excuses given by boys are no longer accepted.
Keri says, “If you’re not man enough to step to the plate, then keep it moving”.
And in case you're wondering why Ms. Keri chose to go with this particular new promo image, her label says "The artwork lends to the creative direction of the new album, No Boys Allowed."  Alrighty then...

Kanye & Amber Rose Dish On Their Breakup + DMX Gets An Early Release

Earl Simmons served 18 days of his 90 day sentence.  And he was released late yesterday afternoon from L.A. county jail. He was serving a sentence due to probation violation and a 2002 reckless driving charge.
Now that he's out., he can focus on his home life.  His wife Tashera announced this week she left him after discovering he father 4 illegitamate kids with other women during their 11 year marriage.  I'm just shocked that she was shocked.  I posted a while back dude already had another girlfriend and new baby.  Womp.


In case you missed it, Kanye West did a great interview with Hot 97's Angie Martinez Wednesday night.  He talked about everything from music to personal struggles to relationships.  He confirmed what we already knew--he and Amber Rose are dunzo.  Here's what he had to say:

“Yeah man, it was an amazing time and it came to an end. One of the greatest things that she showed me was just to be a nicer person because she was so disconnected from the concept of celebrity when I first met her.

“[Amber] be like, ‘What?! You just talked to your fans so crazy right now. I’m not even talking to you right now. I grew from that. I think that was the greatest growth that I got from that experience.”

 

Amber seems to have moved on with Reggie Bush, while Kanye is rumored to be seeing other folks too--including stacked UK model Shay.  He also confirmed he's still looking for Mrs. Right:

“My goal in life is to really have an amazing woman and have a family, but I think I had to go through these different things to grow…That was a one-off.”

Awww.  Sweet.
And Amber Tweeted yesterday, "Eh breakups r hard Dating is stupid & love sucks."  Well that about sums it up.  Usually.

DMX Popped By Police + 50 Cent Inks New Deal + Lloyd Banks Apologizes To Ashanti

I'm convinced that DMX is public enemy number one. Dude is always getting arrested or stopped by police for something. Read about his latest drama (yes, something NEW), 50 Cent's newest deal and hear Lloyd Banks' apology to Ashanti...
Just moments after being released from a Los Angeles jail yesterday, DMX got caught up with the police AGAIN! The rapper, who was just released after serving 18 days of a 90 day sentence for reckless driving in 2002, was stopped in his rented Mercedes Benz for driving without a license. He was initially stopped and ticketed for speeding when it was discovered that he also did not have his license. DMX was issued a citation for driving without a license and will have to appear in court in the near future.
Does this dude have a tracking device on him or something because I'm starting to think either DMX has the worst luck when it comes to the law or Mr. Earl Simmons just doesn't give a s**t.


In rap news, congrats are in order for 50 Cent. He just inked a deal with EMI to promote, market and ditribute releases for G-Unit Records. The first release under the new deal with be Lloyd Banks' third solo album H.F.M. 2 (Hunger For More 2), which is slated for a November 23rd, release date. Tony Yayo's album will follow shortly after.
Mike Harris, executive Vice President and General Manager for EMI Label Services,  expressed his excitement about Lloyd Banks' new album saying "G-Unit is a huge force. Lloyd Banks knows how to deliver a lyrical punch and his single has already generated huge anticipation for the album." Congrats again to 50 Cent and the G-Unit clan.

The Miami Heat have been a hot topic this summer after signing free agents Chris Bosh and LeBron James. Now one Heat star was busted for marijuana this weekend.
Forward Udonis Haslem was arrested yesterday afternoon after police searched his car and found marijuana. Florida Highway Patrol officers pulled the Heat player over for having tinted windows. Officers searched the car three times for drugs AND used drug dogs. The police didn't find the weed until the third time and found less than 20 grams.

Lance Stephenson, a 2nd round draft pick by the Indiana Pacers, was also arrested yesterday for pushing his girlfriend down the stairs. Police say it all went down around 5 AM.

His girlfriend/baby momma flew down 10 steps headfirst and was treated for head and neck injuries. The 19 year old NBA player was arrested for second-degree assault.


This isn't Stephenson's first time in trouble with the law. While in high school, he was arrested for sexually assaulting a 17 year old girl. He plead guilty to disorderly conduct. Stephenson is the all time leading scorer in New York State history.
Damn.  Definitely some serious issues going on here. Lets hope this young man gets some help...

Chippy-D says her daddy refuses to  speak to her.  And the only person shocked by this is Chippy D. 

Montana Fishburne, aka Chippy D, told media yesterday that she spoke to daddy Laurence for the first time Monday since the porn hoopla.  And he said he is disowning her till she gets her ish together.  TMZ repoprted:

According to Montana, her dad said, "I'm not going to speak with you 'till you turn your life around." Laurence was referring to his daughter joining the ranks of Vivid Entertainment as a porn star.
Montana says Laurence added, "You embarrassed me."
And this parting shot. According to Montana, Laurence said, "You used your last name. No one uses their real name in porn."

Can you imagine him saying all this in his Morpheous voice?
