Nicki Minaj Says No Rap Chick Worthy Of Being Name Checked In "Roman's Revenge"

As Nicki Minaj's duet with Eminem, "Roman's Revenge", heats up the charts, Nicki killed any speculation about a Lil' Kim diss saying no one is worthy of being singled out in her rhymes. Read the deets inside....

When asked about criticism from her fellow femcees like Lil Kim' a few days ago, Nicki Minaj said the other rap chicks aren't really mad at her, they are mad at their own failure in the rap game.
And in a new interview, she takes it a bit further saying "Roman's Revenge" was not a diss towards Lil' Kim because no particular rap chick is worthy to be name checked. She said,

"No, I'm talking about everyone who has been in interviews talking and I think it's good for people to hear me respond. A lot people have said so much about me so I don't ever single anyone out because no one is worth being singled out," Minaj explained in an interview when asked if she was dissing Kim. "No one is worth having their name mentioned out of my mouth and they never will get that.

But you know, I've been quiet for such a long time, I've been the nice guy, I've been the person that gave everybody their props. I complemented everybody from day one and I think that as a rapper
, you can't be a rapper and not speak on things being said about you. So, I use my music to say what I have to say."

When veteran femcee and diss record queen Roxanne Shante was asked her opinion of the track, she told VIBE,

"[Nicki's] record was to prove a point, but I was never afraid to say names. Not saying that she's afraid, but I always wanted people to know who I was talking about...The similarities are she just doesn't care. Like, [Lil Kim], this is what I'm saying about you, now what you gonna do?

Being a battle rapper that was totally respected by my male counterparts, I understand where she's coming from. No one can tell the future. [Lil' Kim] could come back with something that blows everyone's mind. Or, she could come back with something and blow her own mind."

Well Nicki has been talking much ish lately. Don't necessarily get how you can be such a "bad chick" but scared to name names or won't even admit you are talking about someone when you're asked. Another sign this type of ish just aint for me or my demographic. But anywho, can't wait to see if Pink Friday delivers or flops.

50 Cent showed off his stacks on deck yesterday and bragged to all of his followers with pics. He gathered $500,000 on a table and played around with it making a house out of money and a heart of money. He said "Who said I don't have a heart. Lol"

Mario's Mother Drops All Charges, Says Mario Didn't Touch Her

Seems like everybody's lucking out today. Mario's mom Shawntia Hardaway just dropped all charges against her son after she reported a little over a month ago that Mario attacked her.

Ms. Hardaway, an admitted Heroin addict battling the addiction for years, filed charges against her own son singer Mario back in September. He was then arrested and charged with second degree assault.
But now, she has dropped all charges according to her lawyer, because she realized she didn't really have a case. She also changed her story and said Mario never touched her, she was just intoxicated that night when she filed her report. According to the NY Daily News:

Shawntia Hardaway was intoxicated when she told police her son, whose real name is Mario Dewar Barrett, had pushed her, causing "minor pain," according to police reports. Hardaway's attorney, Richard Woods, said she was simply upset when she filed the report.
"It was much to do about nothing," Woods said, according to the Baltimore Sun. "I met with her, she told me what happened and there wasn't any criminal action on the part of Mario."
Hardaway told police on Sept. 27 that the former "Dancing with the Stars" contestant, 24, pushed her "eight feet into a living room wall," causing her to strike her head.
Mario was arrested and charged with one count of second-degree assault and later released after he posted a $50,000 bond.
His attorney pointed to Hardaway's drug use as a reason for the initial accusations.
"It was clear from the beginning that Mario never touched or struck his mother," he said. "She was under the influence of drugs when she gave her statement to police. To her credit, she corrected her statement in court today."

Wow. There are many things going on here. I hope Mario and Shawntia continues to work through the issues.
UPDATE: Mario talked to US Magazine today saying, "I'm glad to be finally vindicated. I want to thank everyone who believed in me. I will continue to love and support my mother."
"His mom lied so the charges were dropped," a source tells US.
Meanwhile, Mario kept his calm through the situation by working on his music. He plans to release a mix tape next month and an album next year.
