Nicki recently sat for an interview with BILLBOARD Magazine to promote PINK FRIDAY dropping on November 22.
On her last job:

 "The last job I had was as an office manager in a little, tiny room where I literally wanted to strangle this guy because he was so loud and obnoxious," Minaj recalls. "I would go home with stress pains in my neck and my back. That's when I went to my mother and said, 'Look, I'm not going back to work.' I'd been fired like 15 times because I had a horrible attitude. I worked at Red Lobster before that and I chased a customer out of the restaurant once so I could stick my middle finger up at her and demand that she give me my pen back. I swear to God I was bad."

On being a NY rapper:

"When I started rapping, people were trying to make me like the typical New York rapper, but I'm not that," Minaj says. "No disrespect to New York rappers, but I don't want people to hear me and know exactly where I'm from. I wanted the album to be universal and versatile. It really feels like it speaks for every one of my personalities."

On getting respect in a male-dominated field:

"When I do songs like 'Monster,' when I'm on a record with Jay-Z and Kanye West, when I'm on a record with Wayne and Em -- I definitely think the dudes give me respect," Minaj says. "They haven't come easy but I think people are starting to give me more props."

On "Your Love":

Although first official single "Your Love" reached No. 4 on Billboard's Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart, the track wasn't even meant to be released.

"I didn't like the song and I didn't put it out," she says. "Someone stole it out of the studio and put it on the Internet and I cried because I was mortified. I was humiliated and remember telling Drake, 'This is going to ruin my career.' "

On her work ethic:

"I push people around me but I don't push anyone more than I push myself," she says. "I tell people all the time, 'You want to work for me? You have to give 250,000%,' because when I'm in the booth, I don't half-ass it. I demand perfection from everyone around me and if you can't live up to that, then bye-bye."

During a recent interview with HOT 97 in NYC, Keri Hilson was asked to rate today's leading men of Hip Hop.  Here's what she said:

"Trey [Songz], 1 to 10, I'm thinking, I want to be fair," Hilson told Funkmaster Flex. "I like Trey, he looks good, sex appeal, on point, give him like, a seven. That's a good number for girls...I might give him a seven, eight. I like Trey, he's creeping on up -- J. Cole, he's talented --are all these guys on here high yellow because I like chocolate. He's not my type. He's tall, give him like a five, six. Usher is definitely up there. I would give Usher like a nine. I'm thinking...Kanye [West], the creativity puts him so far up, is he taller than me? I think a lot of girls would rate him pretty high. I would give him a nine.
John Legend, he seems like a man -- I would give John Legend a seven. 50 [Cent], not my type. I'm gonna start off with he's not my type. He's a five. My type is chocolate, tall, some sort of athleticism. Drake, high yellow one. He's very sensitive. It's hard to rate him, I think I might hurt his feelings if I say something about...That's why ladies 'eff' with him so much. He seems very in touch with himself -- one to ten, probably a six. Lil Wayne, I love Wayne, he's very creative. He does have a lot of kids -- I don't know if I could deal with that. It seems like one big happy family, he's such a rock star...Wayne is up there. He's like a seven."

Well those are some interesting ratings....

WE SAW THIS COMING: Kanye Nixes "Today Show" Performance

Sigh.  After all the drama and rants from Kanye about his interview on "The Today Show" this week with Matt Lauer, 'Ye made it known he won't be upholding his performance commitment on the show.

He also had a few more rants about the "set up" and said he's currently in Abu Dhabi readying a performance.  But he aint mad at Mr. Lauer.  Read on for 'Ye's newest explanations....
Kanye Tweeted:

I’m not performing on the Today Show for obvious reasons. I’m so happy the world got to see just a small piece of “the set up”. I blatantly said I’m not performing on a tweet and to everyone around me and the next day they still announced a performance. Do you guys see what I’m saying now… this is just a small slice of the day to day bullshit that goes on that helps to precipitate…… the idea that I such an asshole…. cause when I don’t perform oh noooow I’m the one that’s crazy or a jerk! If I hadn’t tweeted about how they set me up at the show they would have never played the extra footage that displayed how disrespectful…
I want you guys to look at that footage and start to put everything together now. It’s very simple to call someone angry or spoiled or…the one thousand names I’ve been called but it’s harder to try to take a look at what’s really behind the curtain. I’m so happy that my real fans are not as “basic” as the media makes them out to be… Did you see them try to justify playing the audio…under my interview. Yo sometimes you’re just wrong and it ain’t nothing you can say to justify it believe me I know!
Right now I’m not complaining. I’m tweeting because I’m so happy you guys got to see this shit really go down!!!!! : ))))))!!!! FINALLY!!! …And I don’t hate Matt Lauer… We don’t promote hate. That’s the whole point!!! I promote love and truth. We’re all products or our environments … reflections of our surroundings..You know what ….WE OFF THAT!!!… They made a mistake… they thought they could pull it but they couldn’t! That was just a small……representation of a bigger media play that’s been going on since the beginning of time. All positive energy … all smiles. Much love to Matt and the whole Today Show. So he's not pissy at Matt and the "Today Show".  But apparently he's taking a stance against the media set-ups as a whole.  I honestly still don't understand what the issue is-since it's a standard in the tv industry on any and all channels for the station to reference (via video or audio) what is being talked about.  But if Kanye feels there's a bigger conspiracy theory at hand...so be it.

Fantasia Meets With Ex-Lover's Wife - Ish Doesn't Go Well!

American Idol winner Fantasia Barrino met with her ex-boyfriend's scorned wife, Paula Cook, and details from their private sit down are coming out.  Get the deets inside...

Earlier this month, Fantasia and Paula attempted to settle their dispute through private mediation  regarding Fanny's alleged affair with Antwaun Cook.  A source close to the situation says the  mediation lasted nearly 12 hours on November 1, and Fantasia was prepared to pay Paula $100,000.
But then the -ish went left.   A source told RadarOnline,

"They didn't settle because Fantasia refuses to acknowledge that she was aware of Paula's marriage to Antwaun when she started dating him, and Paula is adamant that she knew."

According to the source, Fantasia and Paula are set to meet in a North Carolina courthouse again on November 22, but Paula is readying to sue Fantasia for Alienation of Affection. 
I understand Fantasia wants to save face, but "separated" is still "married."  She should tell Paula what she wants to hear and apologize.  Then have Paula sign a gag order so she can't turn around and do a Wendy Williams interview. Case closed. No need for another dramatic moment with Tylenol in the closet.
