Rob Dyrdek x DC Royal – Another Look

Originally shown in a Black colorway a couple weeks ago, here we have two DC Royal’s from the lifestyle division of DC Shoes that have been personally designed by their golden child, Mr. Rob Dyrdek. Rob stepped outside his own signature collection under the DC umbrella to take the lead at co-signing a pair of Royal’s. To go along with the previously shown pair in Black, Rob put together which not only differs from the other in color, but also in material. Where as the Black pair uses patent leather and ballistic mesh, this brighter Red version ditches the mesh for a buttery smooth suede. To top it off, a dab of White was added to the ankle strap and Rob’s signature was printed below the DC hits on the tongue and heel.Both pairs are available now through DC’s webstore for $100 a piece.

Nike Dunk High “Iron Bot” Customs

Australian sneaker customizer Sekure D presents us with a look at one of his latest creations, the Nike Dunk High “Iron Bot”. Inspired by the man in the iron suit, but with a robotic twist, the sneakers use an Iron Man inspired colorway in Red/Gold and feature the robot arm pattern that Sekure D’s become notorious for using over the years. In addition to the mid-panel being covered with his signature pattern, the robot arms also become noticeable beneath battle wounds, parts of the Red paneling which are made to appear as if part of Iron Bot’s protective outer shell has been torn away. Paying close attention to the shading around the edges of the battle wounds, the effect gives off a trippy 3D look into the inner robotic workings.

Stevie Williams x ALIFE Everybody High America

Stevie Williams may be involved in a partnership with Reebok under his Dirty Ghetto Kids label where the two release footwear under the DGK RBK name, however, that’s not stopping the professional skateboarder from working with one of his favorite streetwear labels to release a pair of kicks outside the catalog of Reebok footwear. Stevie teamed up with New York City’s ALIFE to work on his favorite sneaker, the Everybody High America. Being a Philadelphia native and a baseball fan at that, Stevie designed the Everybody High with a Phillies-like colorway using a mixture of suede and what looks to be ballistic mesh throughout the upper. It’s unknown when exactly the sneakers will release or what their availability will be like in numbers, but they’ll be arriving sometime soon at colette in France and other select ALIFE distributors.

Nike Sportswear Air Force 1 High “Black Foamposite” Preview

The success of the recent Nike Air Force 1 “Metallic Silver Foamposite” has spawned Nike to create the Nike Air Force 1 High “Black Foamposite”. Comprised of Nike’s signature Foamposite material, the “Black Foamposite” Air Force 1 sits atop a clear sole and visible “AIR” unit. A mesh tongue and black strap above the “Nike Air” logo resembles the Nike Air Foamposite Pro, yet the sneaker holds characteristics of the signature Air Force 1.

Verbal x Hype Means Nothing T-Shirt

Following several teasers, we now get a look into the new collaboration between Parisian brand Hype Means Nothing and Verbal, of AMBUSH and Teriyaki Boyz fame. The tee features Hype Means Nothing’s signature style with Verbal showing off several pieces from his AMBUSH collections. Also significant is the use of color, as all previous releases have been done up in black & white. Stay tuned for further details.

Nike SB “Blue Zebra” Blazer QS

The latest quickstrike release from Nike SB comes in the form of this “Blue Zebra” rendition of the classic Blazer silhouette. Given a mostly black base, the kicks are accented with white midsoles, red detailing, and an interesting Zebra print slapped on the side panels. They are now available through finer Nike SB accounts, including Primitive.
