BET AWARDS 2011 : Kevin Hart Set To Host, Chris Brown Leads Pack With 6 Nominations

Comedian Kevin Hart was just named as host of the BET Awards 2011.  Deets on which artists grabbed up nods at tonight's nomination ceremony when you read on....
Terrence J and Rocsi just announced on "106 & Park" the host and nominees for the upcoming BET Awards 2011.  And funny man Kevin Hart will be taking the hosting reigns for the night.  THAT ought to be interesting.  And Alicia Keys was recently announced as one of the performers.
Chris Brown leads the pack of nominees with 6 nods: Best Male R&B Artist, Best Collaboration (for which he holds two nominations), Video of the Year, Best Actor and Coca-Cola Viewers’ Choice.
Closely behind him is Lil Wayne with 5 nominations: Best Male Hip Hop Artist, Best Collaboration (with fellow nominee Chris Brown), Video of the Year and Coca-Cola Viewers’ Choice for his collaborations with Chris Brown and Cory Gunz.
Rounding out the list and tied with 4 nominations each are Kanye West, Rihanna and Drake.   The Best Female Hip Hop Artist nominees are pure Foolywang Material by the way.

Trina & Keyshia Cole Pop Off About Getting No Love From BET AWARDS 2011

We weren't the only ones side eyeing BET's choices of nominations for certain categories yesterday.  After the BET Awards 2011 nominees were announced last night, excluded chicks Trina and Keyshia Cole took to their Twitters to sound off.

Read on for what they had to say....

Yes, Trina dropped the F Bomb.  She wasn't nominated for Best Female Hip Ho pArtist--yet Master P's daughter Cymphonique and Angel Lola Luv/Lola Monroe were.  I couldn't even name one single of there's--nor dd I know they even made one.   Not gonna lie.  That ish sounds mad suspect and extra wack.  Just sayin'.

And Diamond, who was nominated, chimed in and credited Trina for helping her in this game.

Keyshia took the more PC route and she knows how this political game of BET and other music channels works.  So it is what it is.
We really shouldn't be surprised about the basicness and whackness of certain award shows.  But sometimes you just gotta speak your mind.  Your thoughts?

PRO-Keds 69er Lo Perf Leather Pack

For Spring/Summer 2011, PRO-Keds is re-releasing one of its most classic styles in this newly updated perforated leather pack. Last night, Naomi Campbell and a few of her fabulous strutted down the catwalk in Cannes, France to raise money for Naomi's charity Fashion For Relief. See pics of Naomi, Noemie Lenoir, Rosario Dawson, and more on the runway inside.

The runways of Cannes, France were filled with beautiful people last night as Naomi Campbell staged a Fashion For Relief fashion show for the Japanese Red Cross at The 64th Annual Cannes Film Festival.

We knew Naomi was in great shape but damn! Flawless.

FIRST PIC Of Post-Babies Mariah, New Album Dropping Soon?

The first pics of Mariah Carey after she gave birth to twins Moroccan & Monroe a couple of weeks ago have surfaced.  MiMi was spotted leaving UCLA Medical Center in Santa Monica with hubby Nick and the twins.

She's glowing!  Nick and Mariah were spotted sneaking out the back entrance of the hospital last night with the twins in tow.  Despite all the child protective services drama, the couple looks to be in good spirits and uber excited to get "dem babies" home.
Moroccan and Monroe were covered in blue and pink blankets in the back of their Rolls Royce Phantom. Now THAT'S how you have your first ride.
News also came out today that Mariah worked on not only preparing the home during her pregnancy, but also prepared a new album during those long 9 months.  Nick commented today:
“She’s planning on having a record out this year. She’s been working away, and we have a studio in the crib, and the pregnancy has totally inspired her on so many different levels. You’re definitely gonna see some new phenomenal music from Mariah.”
We can reportedly expect to hear her 14th studio album soon.

Beyonce To Debut "Run The World (Girls)" Video On "American Idol"

Beyonce fans will finally get to see the "Run The World (Girls)" video this week as it is reportedly set to debut on tomorrow (Wednesday) night's episode of "American Idol."  Deets inside....

According to Beyonce's official fansite, the "Run The World (Girls)" singer will drop the video on Wednesday, May 18, on “American Idol.”
The video, directed by Francis Lawrence, was shot in April, and will be the first single off the singer's 4 album.
The singer's cousin, Angie Beyince, tweeted that Beyonce will also appear on the show saying, “Tune in Wednesday May 18th to see Beyonce on American Idol.”

UPDATE: Cali Swag District's M-Bone Shot Over Twitter Beef With New Girlfriend's Ex?

It's possibly turning out to not be a random drive-by shooting afterall.  After Cali Swag District's M-Bone was shot and killed Sunday night, reports said it was likely a random act of violence.

But now that M-Bone was found to be driving the car of his girlfriend, whose ex he was at war with on Twitter, signs are pointing to murder.  Updates when you read on....

TMZ reports M-Bone and a girl--who wants to remain anonymous because she's scared of being found out--had recently started dating.  She told the site that her ex-boyfriend, who she had lived with for 1 year--was known to be jealous and hostile toward M-Bone and Cali Swag District.  He even engaged in fights on Twitter with M-Bone.

M left his girlfriend's house Sunday night, using her car, in order to go to the studio to work.  The shooter drove up to the car M was standing outside of--while he was parked outside of a liquor store in Inglewood--shot at him, then made a U-turn to come back to make sure they actually landed a shot.
