Lil P-Nut Makes It To The Ellen Show For An Interview & Performs!

What Beef? Ciara DOESN'T See Keri Hilson And Has More Important Things To Focus On

Well maybe Keri Hilson was right.  In her "Turnin Me On" remix ft. T-Pain and Weezy, she supposedly dissed Ciara saying "your vision cloudy if you think you the best," and now Ciara owns up to the cloudiness.  In a new interview, Ciara pretty much dismisses Keri and all their past drama saying she has better things to focus on.  I guess she can't see Miss Hilson with her blurry vision.  Read on for the deets....
Ciara recently opened up about the alleged beef between her and Keri Hilson saying she has more pressing matters to attend to so she won’t be beefing with Hilson.

In a recent interview with BoomBox, Ciara said:
“In reference to the Keri situation, I’m so in a different space mentally I can’t even bring myself to do that.  It’s not [important] to me. There’s just so much stuff to get out of life than that. There’s so much more for me to accomplish in my career. Personally, I’ve decided that it doesn’t make sense to do that.”

Ciara said fans shouldn't believe everything they read:
“When you read about people having differences, it’s case by case. Sometimes there [are] songs that make people think that, sometimes there are rumors. You just never know where they come from.”
The speculations behind the suspected Ciara/Hilton beef first started with the release of Keri's remix to "Turnin’ Me On." Hilton sings, “Your vision cloudy if you think that you da best/ You can dance, she can sing, but need to move it to the left.”
Then Ciara supposedly came back at Keri in her Basic Instinct (U Got Me) freestyle. And then there was the rumored dust-up at New York City’s Power 105.1’s Power Live show that sent Keri home a little early that night.  A mess.  I hope these ladies work it out, but it looks like CIara has moved on and squashed her side of the beef on her own.  Very grown woman of her.
In new album news, Ciara’s Basic Instinct will hit stores in November and Hilson’s No Boys Allowed is expected to be placed on shelves around the same time.

DO WE LOVE IT: Diddy & His Kilt Diddy-Bop Into Scotland

Well he IS in Scotland....where men typically rock kilts on the daily.  So, of course, Diddy would want to take part in the "cultural" festivities of Glasgow.

Decide if we love Diddy's choice of performance gear when you read on....
Diddy, Dawn, and Kalenna Diddy-bopped their way on the stage for MTV's Crash Glasgow last night.  And Mr. Combs rocked this getup:

DO WE LOVE IT?!

Is That You Jesse Williams?

The "Grey's Anatomy" cutie roughed up his image a bit recently.  But it was all for his love of acting.

Pics of the uber sexy Jesse Williams changing up his image to that of a slave when you read on...

The 29-year-old actor...yes ladies, he's taken and engaged...performed as a guest at this weekend's Colonial Williams, VA performance of What Holds The Future?".
It's a show about "a group of slaves who come together before being sold by their master in the wake of Virginia declaring its independence."  Interesting.

MUSIC FAB: Rihanna's New Album Cover

Rihanna just released the cover photo to her next project LOUD

I'm actually loving Rihanna's new album cover.  It's giving sex appeal without her being naked.  Shocker...I know.  Rih's fifth album hits shelves on November 16.  And she already has a hit single off it, with “Only Girl (In the World)” sitting at No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Naomi Campbell Covers GQ Russia + Delonte West Answers Questions About LeBron's Mom

Naomi Campbell looks stunning in the latest issues of GQ Russia, plus Delonte West answers questions about LeBron James' momma when you go inside....

Gorgeous layout of Miss Campbell.   I feel like she hasn't changed for the last 20 something years.

During his Celtics homecoming Delonte West seemed at ease during media day.  Reporters were told only to ask questions pertaining to basketball, even though this was West’s first interview in more than a year.  However, one reporter from a local radio station asked West if he had an intimate relationship with Gloria James, the mother of two-time Most Valuable Player and former teammate LeBron James.
West took a deep breath, stared the reporter in the eye, and said, "Not at all. I come from an era where you don’t say nothing bad about someone’s parent, so not at all.’’
West is back in Boston where he will serve a 10-game suspension beginning Oct. 26 after pleading guilty to carrying three guns and two knifes while on a motorcycle in suburban Washington, D.C.
As for James, well....it wasn't completely believable how he worded that he didn't tap it.  So I guess we won't get the answer to that question until Gloria wants some attention.

YOUNG MONEY NEWS: Drake Investigated For Battery After Scuffle With Fans!+Weezy's New Letter

Seems like getting into it with your fans is the thing to do these days.  Drake is the latest rapper to be involved in a scuffle with a fan.  Why he and his bodyguard just copped a battery charge, plus Lil Wayne's new letter from Rikers, when you read on...

When Drake rolled in to Jacksonville, FL last week, a fan said she "was just trying to congratulate Drake on all his success" when Drake's bodyguard punched her friend.
The fans claims they just called Drake's name, and Drake's bodyguard popped off and punched him in the face.  The fan ended up in the hospital, so now he's suing Drake and the bodyguard for battery.  And he wants his medical bill covered.
The female fan claims Drake flipped her off when he was walking back to his tour bus.  Well damn.

In other Young Money news, Lil Wayne just released another letter from behind bars at Rikers.  He talks about feeling "ancient" now that he's 28, missing his kids, only listening to slow jams and ESPN, and even a marriage proposal.  Here it is in full:
What’z poppin!
I hope that you all are well and as always, thank you thank you thank you for the endless love and support. I think by the time you all read this I’ll be 28 years old… feeling ancient in this b#tch! On that note, I do encourage you young people to enjoy your youth. And for the old heads like me, enjoy your life. Everyday!
As for me, I’m good. Awaiting freedom patiently. People often ask does the days feel longer now that the time is getting shorter… I say that there’s 24 hours in everyday. But honestly, I can’t fxckin’ wait! Sorry. Anyway, I’m still playing UNO. Still doing pushups and such, by the way, please don’t expect me to come out looking any different. I’m the same little ‘ol me. Also, I’ve been trying to get as much rest as I can because I know I won’t when I’m out of here. Wait, Aaliyah’s “Let Me Know” just came on the radio! “At your best, you are love”… and I try to always be at my best, for you.
I only listen to slow jams and ESPN. Shoutout to Keith Stewart and Dr. Bob Lee on WBLS, and Lenny Green on KISSfm. That’s all I listen to, other than sports. Oh and if you haven’t heard the new song by Eric Benet, “Sometimes I Cry”, please stop what you’re doing and check it out. Well, after you finish reading this. It’s the best song I’ve heard since Maxwell’s “Woman’s Worth”. It’s for grown folk. I actually listen to the radio all day waiting for that song. Anyway, so back to my fans, you are the best in the world. When reading those letters, you never cease to amaze me with your love. I am forever grateful.
So my kids are perfect. I miss them like crazy! Reginaé, you are the angel of my life. Kam, you are amazing. Neal, you are my little wonderful meatball. And Lil Tunechi Jr., you are so me. City, I am so you! I love my family and I thank them for the support during this time. It’s almost over. To my YMCM family, you are the fxckin’ best! Uhh Nik, I am jealous of you and Drizzy, but it’s cool! Ha ha. I miss you all and keep killin’ ‘em. I love y’all.
To everyone who’s come to visit me. I thank you for that, graciously. It means a lot. Well I’ll end this letter but never my love. Speaking of love… Mr. Chris Kyle, will you marry Ms. Ashalee Albarr??? Now that was cool. Well I hope y’all got my new album ‘I Am Not A Human Being’. It’s great, like every one of you. Peace.
P.S. … you’re mines.

President Obama Chats It Up With Rolling Stone+Beyonce Crashes Her In-Laws' Block Party

President Barack Obama is covering the pages of the new Rolling Stone mag.  And he's proving while he's still a political rock star.  Despite the non-stop hate.  We have his quotes about choking up when he thinks about his wife, which rappers are on his iPod, his thoughts on Fox News, and more.

Those quotes, plus video of Beyonce dancing it up at a Jersey block party yesterday when you read on...
What has surprised you the most about these first two years in office? What advice would you give your successor about the first two years?
Over the past two years, what I probably anticipated but you don't fully appreciate until you're in the job, is something I said earlier, which is if a problem is easy, it doesn't hit my desk. If there's an obvious solution, it never arrives here — somebody else has solved it a long time ago. The issues that cross my desk are hard and complicated, and oftentimes involve the clash not of right and wrong, but of two rights. And you're having to balance and reconcile against competing values that are equally legitimate.
What I'm very proud of is that we have, as an administration, kept our moral compass, even as we've worked through these very difficult issues. Doesn't mean we haven't made mistakes, but I think we've moved the country in a profoundly better direction just in the past two years.
What do you think of Fox News? Do you think it's a good institution for America and for democracy?
[Laughs] Look, as president, I swore to uphold the Constitution, and part of that Constitution is a free press. We've got a tradition in this country of a press that oftentimes is opinionated. The golden age of an objective press was a pretty narrow span of time in our history. Before that, you had folks like Hearst who used their newspapers very intentionally to promote their viewpoints. I think Fox is part of that tradition — it is part of the tradition that has a very clear, undeniable point of view. It's a point of view that I disagree with. It's a point of view that I think is ultimately destructive for the long-term growth of a country that has a vibrant middle class and is competitive in the world. But as an economic enterprise, it's been wildly successful. And I suspect that if you ask Mr. Murdoch what his number-one concern is, it's that Fox is very successful.
What music have you been listening to lately? What have you discovered, what speaks to you these days?
My iPod now has about 2,000 songs, and it is a source of great pleasure to me. I am probably still more heavily weighted toward the music of my childhood than I am the new stuff. There's still a lot of Stevie Wonder, a lot of Bob Dylan, a lot of Rolling Stones, a lot of R&B, a lot of Miles Davis and John Coltrane. Those are the old standards.
A lot of classical music. I'm not a big opera buff in terms of going to opera, but there are days where Maria Callas is exactly what I need.
Thanks to Reggie [Love, the president's personal aide], my rap palate has greatly improved. Jay-Z used to be sort of what predominated, but now I've got a little Nas and a little Lil Wayne and some other stuff, but I would not claim to be an expert. Malia and Sasha are now getting old enough to where they start hipping me to things. Music is still a great source of joy and occasional solace in the midst of what can be some difficult days.
And when he was asked if he cried when aul McCartney sang "Michelle" to his wife a little while back, he responded:
Whenever I think about my wife, she can choke me up. My wife and my kids, they'll get to me.
How sweet!  He talks about more politically targeted issues at the source.

In other news, Beyonce crashed her in-laws' block party.  No, for real.  She hit West Orange, New Jersey yesterday to visit Jay-Z's mom.  And she decided to join in the dancing and partying with the neighbors at their block party.  It was all caught on tape, and the neighbors loved it:

WTF? Melyssa Ford Pops OFF On ESSENCE Magazine

Many people have been upset these last few months with ESSENCE because the magazine hired a white fashion editor.  Others believe the magazine is out of touch with black women as a whole.  Now Melyssa Ford is upset at the magazine because of their recent cover and their "subtle" messages to black women.  Find out her profanity laced issue when you read on...

Video vixen godmother/actress/model Melyssa did an interview with VIBE and voiced her opinion about the current cover of Essence Magazine. The cover features Blair Underwood, Boris Kodjoe, and Lance Gross and the caption says "How To Keep Black Men Happy And Faithful":

Melyssa : "Right now Essence has on the cover, three of the most gorgeous black men ever created on the face of this fucking Earth. They have Blair Underwood who has always done it for me, Boris Kodjoe whose definition in the dictionary is fine, and then they got Lance Gross—chocolatey loveliness. And you know what they fucking have the nerve to have as the fucking title of the cover story? “How To Keep Black Men Happy and Faithful.” And faithful! How dare you?! It makes me fucking sick. [It’s like saying] ‘Women take note—how to keep your black men healthy and keep from straying from you ‘cause it’s your fault.’ And black women wrote this to their fucking counterparts. As if to say, ‘If he strays, it’s your fucking fault. You didn’t cook enough. You didn’t blow him enough. You didn’t fuck him enough. You didn’t do enough to keep your fucking man healthy or faithful.’ O-M-fucking-G! "
Melyssa: "There are times where I’m surprised at the audacity that they fucking have to put something like that on the cover, but they’re regarded as the soul sista’s bible. They accept a fucking elitist attitude on who they’ll have on the cover and who they won’t? Please. Who was on the cover last month? They were toasting to women above the age of 40, and how beautiful they look, but Naomi’s on the cover? Okay, yes. Granted, Miss Naomi walks a catwalk, and she’s still killing 16-year-old and 20-year-old girls. Yes, but she has serious anger management issues and an overwhelming sense of entitlement, and she is engaged in fucking illegal activity that’s directly related to the blood diamond industry in Africa. And you’re putting her on a pedestal? Is that what you’re doing? But you won’t cover somebody like me because I based the earlier part of my career on my sexuality? My moral compass hasn’t been shifted off too much. My values are pretty good considering the causes that I believe in and places I’ve volunteered my time and given my money to, but you don’t feel the need to ever cover any single part of my career. You don’t even acknowledge that I even fucking exist. But this is what you cover and this is the thing you say? I think it’s hypocrisy."

Well *snaps* in a E (for Essence) formation.  She did raise a few good points I have to admit.  Even though she should have gotten to the real point and just asked to be on the cover like she knows she wanted to.

I kid.  Kinda.  Thoughts?
