Kobe Bryant “The Black Mamba” Official Trailer

Basketball superstar Kobe Bryant will play for his life in the new Nike Basketball short film “The Black Mumba”. Directed by legendary filmmaker Robert Rodriguez, Bryant finds himself lost in Dallas at the epicenter of evil having to play a game to save his soul and his new Zoom Kobe VI sneaker. No Rodriguez film would be complete without it’s share of super villains as Bruce Willis and Danny Trejo play the athlete’s arch nemesis. So the question on everybody’s minds is will Kobe succeed? You’ll have to wait in suspense until next month when the short is shown in it’s entirety during the 2011 NBA All-Star Game.

Rihanna's New Video For "S&M", Addresses The Critics

Rihanna is getting ready for the release of her "S&M" and it's not without controversy.  See pics from the set and get the deets on the video inside...

In the video, Rih Rih goes the way of Michael Jackson's "Leave Me Alone" video and shows herself being both affected and unaffected by gossip, rumors and lies.  She is surrounded by newspaper style reports and blog messages about her bisexuality, reported devil worshipping, and support for the illuminati.  I guess she is leaving no rumor untouched.  She even throws shade at a few blogs....

The video is helmed director Melina Matsoukas, who also did the “Rockstar 101,” “Rude Boy” and Hard” videos. There is no release date set yet.

Lil Wayne Announces New "I Am Music II" Tour + Swizzy Gets Hacked

Lil Wayne is set to go on tour again.  He just announced his new I AM MUSIC II tour and it kicks off this March.  Details on that when you go inside, plus Swizy getting hacked, when you read on...
Weezy and all his rapper and Young Money friends are heading out around North America this spring to a venue near you.  His "I AM MUSIC II" tour kicks off March 18th in Buffalo, NY.  And hits about 25 venues until April 29th where he ends in Vancuver.
Weezy will have opening acts like Nicki Minaj, Rick Ross, Travis Barker and Mixmaster Mike opening up his shows.  Hopefully his crew keeps the "drank" and "smoke" to a minimum this tour-go-round.  He seems to get in trouble on tour buses...

Uh oh!  The twitter hackers have a sense of humor because someone hacked into Swizz Beatz's account yesterday and left raunchy statements about Alicia Keys, Mashonda, and others.  Allhiphop reports:
Swizz Beatz' Twitter account was briefly hijacked on Sunday (January 22nd) when mischievous pranksters gained access to his account. The culprit sent out a variety of tweets under Swizz' name about Alicia Keys, Kanye West, Swizz' ex-Mashonda and the joy of participating in "orgies." The unknown individual spared the producer of any real damage to the account and Swizz regained control of his account in minutes. Swizz is the latest victim of a phishing scam that has resulted in the accounts of Ja Rule and Lil Wayne's accounts being compromised. Both artists regained control of their accounts, but Lil Wayne has since closed his LilTuneChi account, which had almost 1.5 million followers.
Oh wells.

Usher, Terrence Howard & Wife, & Bobby Brown

HDTV cable network chairman Mark Cuban has announced that Usher will entertain guests at his Superbowl party.  Get the deets inside plus read how Terrence Howard celebrated his one-year anniversary with his wife and what Bobby Brown said after the death of his mother. 

Mark Cuban, who owns the Dallas Mavericks and Landmark Theatres, announced via twitter that guests lucky enough to attend his Superbowl party in Dallas will be entertained by superstar Usher.

Terrence Howard celebrated his first year of marriage to Michelle Ghent-Howard by making her a home-cooked meal on the first day of Sundance. To a group of guests at the cast dinner for Terrence's latest movie, The Ledge, Michelle said:

"He made me dinner here.  I arrived last night late, and he arrived during the day, and I got to our condo and he had made a nice dinner [and bought] flowers."

Terrence could have used the film's promotion as an excuse to forget the anniversary, but he didn't.  Gold star for him.
And sadly, Bobby Brown lost his mother this weekend:

Carole Brown, the mother of Bobby Brown, passed away on last Thursday in Los Angeles at the age of 69. Her cause of death was not reported.
Bobby, who described his mother as his “rock,” said in a statement:

“It is a sad time for me right now. I am experiencing a tremendous loss but I vow to celebrate her life in every way that I can with my entire family, including my fiancé Alicia and my children Bobbi Kristina, LaPrincia, Bobby Jr and Cassius.” 

The family will hold a private funeral in Boston.

Kanye West Dropping New Album This Summer, Takes New York With Kim And Kourtney+Wiz Khalifa's "Black & Yellow" Game Performance

And if your man was hogging the tv while you were trying to watch Mean Girls and Mean Girls 2 last night, you might have missed this:

Wiz Khalifa took to the stage in Pittsburgh, his hometown, to perform his hit “Black And Yellow” during the AFC Championship game between the Steelers and Jets. Maybe it was the crunkeness of it all that brought them to victory.
Fans seemed to enjoy the performance on Sunday, but those fans who saw Wiz perform Saturday night got an added bonus when he randomly brought his boo Amber Rose to literally just walk on stage for 5 seconds...

Oprah's Big Secret Is...

The secret's out!  Oprah's been teasing viewers since last week about today's episode where she will be reunited with someone very important to her.  The teaser always hinted toward a family member of some kind, but is that actually it?

And Oprah's BIG reveal is...
She has a long lost half-sister who was given up for adoption shortly after her birth.
The sibling's name is Patricia, who reportedly was given up for adoption by Oprah's mother, Vernita Lee, shortly after her birth in 1963.
Interestingly, Oprah has 2 other younger siblings who died--one ALSO named Patricia and a brother named Jeffrey.  According to USA Today:

USA TODAY's Judy Keen reports from Chicago that Patricia - whose last name was not revealed - lived in foster homes until she was 7, including some that were "not so good," she said on Monday's Oprah Winfrey Show.
Patricia said she always hoped her birth mother would return for her. By 17, she was a single mother. She has two grown children, a daughter and son.
"Oh my God, I have a family" was her reaction when she found out she had three siblings, Patricia said. One of those siblings, the only one still alive, was Winfrey.
Just before Thanksgiving, Winfrey said, she was told "a bombshell family secret." The story would have become public and been "exploited" eventually, Winfrey said, "so I wanted you to hear it from me first."
"Patricia is my half-sister who I never knew existed," Winfrey said.
Winfrey said she had no idea her mother had given up a baby when she was 9 and living with her father Vernon Winfrey in Nashville.
Wow.  And how did Patricia figure out the billionaire media maven is indeed her sibling?  Her son researched Oprah's mother Vernita Lee online after Vernita did an interview about her kids:
Patricia said she saw Lee in a TV interview discussing her three acknowledged children and began to put the pieces together.
Her son, Andre, went online and found the birthdates of Patricia's siblings, including Winfrey. "We realized that Oprah could be my sister," Patricia said. That was in 2007. Lee and Patricia both still live in Milwaukee.
Patricia kept her connection to Winfrey a secret because she worried it would create a media frenzy. "I did not want her hurt," Patricia said.

And a spoiler on how their first reunion went on the show:

Winfrey called their first encounter "a beloved moment."
"It's not something I ever thought would happen to me," Winfrey said.
She then brought Patricia on stage. Winfrey teared up as soon as she was seated beside her half-sister and clasped her hand.

Today's show airs at 9am CT in Chicago, and 4p ET elsewhere in the country.  We'll be watching...

Willow Smith Gets Jungle Happy For New Video Shoot

10-year-old Willow Smith is gearing up for another hit.  The "Whip My Hair" singer told her Facebook fans to get ready for another dance anthem.  And it looks like she's already shot the jungle themed music video for it.

Little Miss Willow donned red braids, a flesh colored bodysuit, and a bright golden and red printed full skirt and shiny button down look for her upcoming video.  The folks over at Rap-Up copped some pics from the Palmdale, CA set this weekend.  And mama Jada wasn't too far behind to watch over her youngin'.
Rumor has it the name of her second track is "21st Century Girl."  She posted on Facebook:
“Hey people I am so excited for my next single!! Are you? It’s a dance record. I know you love to dance, don’t cha’……"

Converse Addict Chuck Taylor All Star – The Anatomy

Upon the release of the Converse Addict collection, it left many people scratching their head as to what constitutes a Chuck Taylor All Star that ranges in the triple digits for retail price. Given the opportunity, we took a more in-depth look into the construction and characteristics of a sneaker that has endured generation upon generation of fans. The goal of the Addict line was to recreate some of the sensibilities of the Chuck Taylor circa 1960s with some new age improvements. A Vibram outsole provides a non-slip rubber with enhanced wear resistance. A Poron insert in the bed of the sneaker provides additional cushioning with a further Outlast liner for greater comfort relative to heat and temperature. Aside from that we also see a slightly different ’60s silhouette, upgraded stitching and branding on the heel dating back almost 50 years.
