Kanye West and Jay-Z recently released the cover art for "H.A.M." the first single off the much-anticipated cd Watch The Throne.  See the artwork inside, plus get a peek at the new $350 headphones 50 Cent wants you to buy called "Sleek By 50."

Kanye and Jay-Z just released the cover art for "H.A.M" which the streets say stands for Hard As A Mutha....  The album is rumored to drop March 1, but the single "H.A.M." should hit the internet on Tuesday, January 11 (1.11.11).  We will keep you posted.

And in portable music news, 50 Cent is marketing a new pair of headphones that he says is the first to offer "uncompressed wireless sound." Dude stays making business moves left and right.
The headphones, Sleek By 50, were designed by the rapper and engineered by Sleek.

Sleek says they are the first headphones ever to offer 'Wireless Hybrid' technology which lets you listen to music anywhere in your house without having to be plugged into your mp3 player. The headphones have a 60 foot range and a micro-USB rechargeable battery so if you run out of power, there's a detachable mic cable that can be jacked in for continued listening. So how much will they cost you?  Around $350.

Why this new venture? 50 says,

"I know music and I've tried everything on the market as far as headphones go, but I wanted something different, something better, that really pushed the envelope and gave all music fans a new way to listen to their favorite artists. I was fortunate to find Sleek, the technology they employ and their knowledge of how we hear music truly blew me away. Nas Has Child Support Payments To Kelis Sliced In Half

Lawyers for Nas must have worked through the holidays because he got his child and spousal support obligations to Kelis sliced in half.  Deets inside....

According to TMZ, legal docs filed in L.A. County Superior Court, now say Nas must pay a tad over $5,000 a month in child support and $20,000 a month in spousal support.  That's still a large amount  but it's half of what he was originally ordered to pay.
How'd he do it?  Nas convinced the judge the bad economy has even hit the rap game.  Well...it's the truth.

Tiny's Drug Charges Dropped+Redskin Fred Davis A Woman Beater?!

After getting in trouble with her boo for getting some hand nookie in jail, Tiny received some good news today.  The deets on the judge letting Tiny get off--no pun intended--on those drug charges, plus news on Redskins NFL baller Fred Davis allegedly beating up a woman when you read on....
TMZ reports that the D.A. in L.A. has dismissed all drug possession charges against Tiny after she and T.I. were caught with the syrup and coke and X and other drugs while riding around Sunset Blvd. back in September.
Since Tiny completed 24 sessions of a certified drug diversion program in Georgia, she's good to go in the state of California.  The D.A. previously dropped the charges against T.I. as the arrest alone was enough to send him back tot he slammer.  Looks like her and T.I.P.'s kids will have at least one parent in the household.  Hope they've both learned their lessons now.

Washington Redskin Tight End Fred Davis has been accused of striking a female in the mouth he had "aggressively approached" at Josephine's nightclub in D.C.  According to TMZ:

The woman told police she was hanging out at Josephine nightclub -- when Davis approached her in an "aggressive" manner and grabbed her ... so she threw a drink on him.
A short time later, she claims, Davis retaliated by throwing a drink back on her -- and then striking her in the lip with an object. Sources at the club tell us the woman claimed she was hit with a champagne bottle.
Law enforcement sources tell us the club is equipped with surveillance cameras which captured the confrontation ... and cops will review the footage.
So far, no charges have been filed -- and we're told Davis is expected to speak with cops sometime today to give his side of the story.

Sigh.  I already know how this went.  Dude probably thought he could approach any and every chick in the club any kind of way because drinks are flowing and many football players think all women worship them.  Chick wasn't having it and cursed him out.  He got his feelings hurt (Josephines is a big hangout spot for the Redskins and Wizards and Ravens and he was probably with his boys )and ish popped off.  Just my prediction.  Wouldn't be the first time....

Queen Latifah Dissed By Neil Patrick Harris

In other TV news...

The 2011 People's Choice Awards ceremony had a few awkward moments, one being Queen Latifah getting dissed by Neil Patrick Harris.
The pair began by dancing awkwardly together as the show returned after the commercial break, then Queen Latifah asked Neil to rate her performance as host.
Neil said, "You're doing OK, I give you a solid B+," sarcastically.  The audience got upset and responded with a large amount of "boos."
After losing the audience, Neil quickly changed Latifah's score to an A+, but the damage was done.
After the show, he tweeted:

"Wow, Queen Latifa gets an A+! Best host ever! And she's totally not pinning me to the wall backstage, choking me... as I... write this..!"

Queen Latifah played it cool...and perhaps she was in on the joke.

T.I. And Tiny Caught "In The Act" During Visiting Hours

Rapper T.I. is even more trouble for getting beat...and we're talking about his genitals...while in prison.  Why?  Because the incident happened during visiting hours and the "beater" was his wife Tiny!  Deets inside...
During a trip to the Arkansas State Prison last weekend, T.I. wife's Tiny obviously couldn't resist the sight of her hubby in a hot orange jumpsuit.  In the middle of the visiting room, during regular hours, Tiny took T.I. in the palm of her hands and literally went to work.
According to prison guidelines, inmates are allowed to kiss and embrace at the beginning and at the end of a visit as well as hold hands...but it stops there.  And "the inmate’s hands must remain in plain view of Visiting Room staff at all times."  But I guess now they have to add "inmate's partner's hands" to that statement.
Tiny told TMZ that T.I.P. was immediately reprimanded and sent to a "Special Housing Unit" which has more security and less freedom.   She says she's hopeful she'll be allowed to visit again soon...after he gets off...of punishment.

Big news for female MCs trying to get back in the game...Nicki Minaj has been certified platinum by the RIAA.
While Nicki's actually numbers are more in the 800K-900K "sold" range, you only need to ship 1 million CDs to be certified platinum.  But with her next big single "Moment For Life" ft. Drake dropping, she'll pobably hit the million mark sold pretty soon.

Congrats to Nicki and all her characters.
