Nike Sportswear x ?uestlove Dunk Collection

Once again turning to an icon of Nike’s design heritage, Nike Sportswear takes the Nike Dunk and puts it in the hands of one of the music industry’s most innovative creators of sound, ?uestlove. Releasing on March 4, two Nike Dunks will hit the shelves as a pair of unlikely twins bearing a unique look that is arguably the first of its kind. One pair red and the other yellow, the Nike Dunk x ?uestlove is the product of an imagination that brings uncharacteristic embellishments to a classic. Inspired by mid-’80s era American television, ?uestlove draws from the favorite sitcoms of his youth and interprets their story lines through design. Hinting to an episode that is forever etched in ?uestlove’s mind, a character is presented with an all-too human conflict; impressing a girl with style, but the outcome goes horribly awry. The character pleads for an expensive shirt from his parents, but when he is denied, a sibling offers to make a replica that is in the end far from perfect. The Nike Dunk x ?uestlove is just that, one is perfect, and the other is, to say the least, a bit off-kilter.
The red pair is fashioned to perfection using premium leather complete with an overlay that conceals the laces trimmed with white buttons. The yellow pair is the traditional Nike Dunk with a twist – the swoosh shape that is distinct to the Nike Blazer. The Nike Dunk x ?uestloves are then finished off with the emblem of its maker, the silhouette of ?uestlove himself. ?uestlove surprises us by suddenly adding a third Nike Dunk x ?uestlove to the mix, this version colored in all-black. When asked about the addition, ?uestlove responds, “Dunks to me are the tuxedo of Nikes. Obviously an awesome basketball sneaker, but they can also fit almost any situation. If rocked right, you could even wear them with a suit, and the all-black version is perfect for that.” The Nike Dunk x ?uestlove by Nike Sportswear will be available at Nike Sportswear at 21 Mercer, New York, and select Nike Sportswear retailers nationwide March 5.

Liberty x Nike Sportswear 2011 Summer Preview

Liberty of London previews an upcoming release from its continued collaboration with Nike Sportswear. Building off a Nike Dunk once again, the shoes feature a bit of a different approach textile-wise as opposed to previous floral print treatments. Look for these to release come April 1st, along with the rest of the collection.

Chris Brown & Wiz Khalifa's "Bomb" Track

Chris Brown took a break from dying his hair blonde and snapping X-rated full frontal naked pics to drop another track off his upcoming F.A.M.E. album.

Decide if we love his new joint "Bomb" featuring Wiz Khalifa when you read on....
Breezy and Wizzy have hit a few stages together recently as Wiz brought him out a couple times for his "Black & Yellow" performances.
Anywho, "Bomb" reminds me a bit of Esther Dean's "Drop It Low," which Chris was featured on.  The new track, talking mainly about how badly they want to get it in with sexy ladies, is produced by Free School and appears on Breezy's F.A.M.E. album dropping March 22nd.

Bell & Ross x Shaw Harley Davidson Nascafe Racer

Much like some of its compatriots in the world of high-end watches, Bell & Ross extend their penchant for design beyond just timepieces onto other formats. Case in point is their collaborative creation of the Nascafe Racer with bike customizers, Shaw Harley Davidson. The bike is based on the FXSTB Softail Nightrain with the integration of a BR 01 Carbon watch into the center console. The bike embodies the “performance, precision and engineering” of Bell & Ross with the execution and quality of Shaw Harley Davidson. The bike will be seen over several different shows in the next few months including The Dublin International Motorcycle Show, Custom Chrome European Show Mainz, St Tropez Harley-Davidson Euro Festival and the Bournemouth International Custom Motorcycle Show.

L.B.M. 1911 2011 Fall/Winter Collection

L.B.M. 1911 represents a more casual and youthful accompaniment to the original Lubiam brand from Italy. The Luigi Bianchi-founded operation has history dating back to 1911 as the name suggests while the L.B.M. 1911 label looks to offer fashion in a more casual context with an easy to incorporate demeanor. The well-styled collection for next season offers a strong focus on its roots with various suit jackets.

Nike Soccer: Vive Le Football Libre.

Despite the French nature of this recent Nike Soccer spot, “Vive Le Football Libre.” offers a message anybody can appreciate. Spanning both the formal 11-aside pitches as well as the streets of France, the ultimate goal promoted by Nike Soccer is to play beautifully-flowing soccer with a sublime focus on simple and finishing touches. The cinematography is not too shabby as well and sets the standard for another memorable Nike Soccer video.

Christian Louboutin Biarritz Leather Flat

The latest from Christian Louboutin makes its way to the brand’s online store. Merging a classic loafer style with deck shoe elements, the brand steers clear of the recent studded designs with a low-key, quality style. The shoes are produced with premium navy blue leather while sporting white contrast details, including tassel accents. Retail is set at $695 USD.

RED CARPET: The 42nd Annual NAACP Image Awards

Stars rolled up to the 42nd annual NAACP Image Awards Friday night in L.A. looking fabulous.  And we've got pics of the stars who hit the red carpet before going inside to receive awards and support other winners.

Over 40+ pics inside of Tia and Tamera Mowry, Halle Berry, Keisha Knight Pulliam, and tons more.

Mrs. Mowry Hardrict showed off her baby bump in beautiful style beside her hubby Cory.  She rocked a Mandalay Couture Collection Chiffon "Goddess Gown" in black with an empire waist and platinum lace top.

She wears pregnancy oh so well.

Her twin sis Tamera also hit the carpet in this long teal gown.

She looked uber cute on the carpet with her fiance.

Halle Berry hit the carpet in all her perfect glory.

Not sure what this chick does but whatever it is, she needs to bottle it up and sell that ish.  Cute gold, white, and silver long sleeved floor length Pucci gown too.

Keisha Knight Pulliam looked pretty in pink in this long strapless and belted fuschia gown.

Loving everything Ms. Pulliam is giving right now.  Hot.

Fab actress Viola Davis hit the carpet with her hubby.

Kimberly Elise brought her two daughters--Butterfly and Ajableu--along for the red carpet ride.  Such gorgeous girls she has!

And she also kicked it with her former For Colored Girls director Tyler Perry.

Oh...I see Tyler brought his "special friend" as well.

Heeey Romeo.

Well well well.  It's about damn time.  Actress Angel Conwell finally looks like a star--and not like a stripper or a thirsty chick still just trying to break into the biz.  Her brand new role as the high powered attorney on "Young & The Restless" is doing her well.  Lovely gown.

And another new "Y&R" star--Julia Pace Mitchell (who also played Biggie's baby mama in Notorious)--hit the carpet in a pretty peach gown.  Not loving the shoes though.

Wayne Brady hit the carpet with his date.

Comedian and actor Affion Crockett looked nice.

Is it just me or does Hill Harper always look like he's posing for his political campaign pics?

Blair Underwood brought his too-cool son on the carpet.  Cute!

Loretta Devine showed off her fresh cut atop this red and bronze look.

"Access Hollywood" correspondent Shaun Robinson wore red for the occasion.  Not my fave dress choice of hers, but she's fab nonetheless.

Actor Dule Hill brought his actress wife, Nicole Lyn, on the carpet.

The fabulous Amber Riley hit the carpet in this dark blue strapless ensemble.  Once again she chooses a dress with the perfect fit.  Loves it.

Kerry Washington got white hot on the carpet.

Simple and chic dress for the carpet.

Salli Richardson got hot in this animal print dress.  Sexy look for her.

Niecy Nash has been glowing lately---and not just because of her sequin dresses.

Because of her fiance Jay she's getting married to in a few months.  Sweet!

Actress Essence Atkins looked chic in this gold and silver one shoulder gown on the carpet.  Nice.

Oh hey Terry McMillan.  Interesting choice of dress you have here.

Regina King brought the sexiness to her strapless cocktail dress that shows off her killer arms and sky-high pumps.

Holly Robinson Peete looked great on the carpet with her YBF daughter Ryan.  Ryan's growing up so fast!

Terry Crews and his wife hit the carpet looking like the fab couple that they are.

Vanessa Bell Calloway rocked this long lace and satin gown that looked straight out of the late 90's.

One of the best looks I've seen on Anika Noni Rose.  Perfect lush purple color and specks of metallic fabric covering her curves make for a gorgeous look on her.

Actress Phylicia Rashad brought her new man on the carpet.  Ok I see you Ms. Phylicia!

Actress Kali Hawk hit the carpet in this drapey gold number.  Pretty look for her.

And Samuel L. Jackson walked the carpet as well.  Is that velvet with a white jacket Sam?  Only you can pull that off...
