Mac Miller - Best Day Ever

I’ve been following Mac Miller for awhile now, and watching him drop K.I.D.S. and blow up from an online buzz artist to a sold-out tour across the country. Now after months of anticipation, and a few leaks, we finally get his latest mixtape Best Day Ever. Well I start off by saying it’s definitely got a more grown up feel, a more laid back tone, almost even a little more mainstream sounding, but not really in a bad way. The production lineup is insane so you know the beats are gonna be on point. It’s just as solid as K.I.D.S. in the sense that it’s almost like a free album rather then a mixtape.

Supreme x Adam Kimmel Capsule Collection

Supreme has just announced its collaboration with New York designer Adam Kimmel for the Spring/Summer 2011 season. The two have worked together to produce a two-piece suit that’s understated and youthful. Made from Italian cotton twill, the well-crafted suit features an unlined two-button jacket and custom fit pant. Available in navy and black colorways, the suit can be purchased in-store and online starting March 31 with a later release date of April 2 for Japan.

Casio G-Shock Ruby Atomic Frogman

G-Shock has just unveiled a new, limited-edition version of its Frogman model at the Baselworld World Watch and Jewelry Show in Switzerland. In addition to a lightweight titanium case, the watch also features a pair of genuine rubies set into the screws on the front of the casing. Priced at $1,835 USD and limited to a run of only 200 pieces, the Ruby Atomic Frogman will be released May 2011.

Kinetics x DJ Muro x adidas Originals Ultra Star XL

Japanese sneaker retailer Kinetics is at the center of a new collaboration which brings on board musical artist DJ Muro and adidas Originals. The result is a special collaborative version of the Ultra Star XL. With references to its iconic big brother the Superstar, the Ultra Star XL features a very much Muro-esque colorway decked out in black, red and green. The quilted black leather is further matched up with snakeskin stripes and a large Trefoil logo on the heel. Available now at Kinetics.

H?Katsukawa from Tokyo Silkprint Collection

Upon a recent visit with Eiichi Katsukawa of H?Katsukawa from Tokyo, Style Salvage had the opportunity to examine some of the designer’s upcoming 2011 Fall/Winter Collection offerings. Offering new and unique approaches to revamping footwear classics, his silkprint collection offers a more casual approach through both oxfords and derbys. Nitraid x Nike Street Gato XBS Premium

Launched within the last few months, the Nike Gato was positioned as a futsal and street-based piece of footwear. As it re-emerges, the Gato now takes on a more street-ready demeanor with the help of Nitraid. Part the XBS collection which stresses small-sided football, Nitraid incorporate muted colors with texturized materials on the upper. The outsole features two different grains as well as color contrasts. A release is slated for May through select retailers.

Made with strong, comfortable band materials of resin and stainless steel, each style exudes an attractive, sophisticated look with black IP case coloring. The EFX530P-1AV features a stacked sapphire crystal dial, where sub-dials are arranged three dimensionally on the face. Snoop Dogg Remembers Nate Dogg With New Tattoo & Tribute Video

On Friday night , Snoop Dogg got a new tattoo covering his entire left forearm. The West coast rapper had a picture of legendary rapper Nate Dogg tattooed on his arm hours prior to the services for the rapper on Saturday. Check out pics of Snoop getting inked to commemorate his friend and video of him paying tribute to the late Nate Dogg...

The tattoo was designed by the famous tattoo artist Mister Cartoon in Southern California. Under the images of Nate Dogg's face, the phrase "All Doggs go to heaven" was written.

On Saturday, thousands including, Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre, Game, DJ Quik, Kurupt, Xzibit, and more gathered to say goodbye to the rap legend at the Queen Mary Dome.

Yesterday, Daniel "Diggy" Simmons celebrated his 16th birthday at Lucky Strike in New York City with his big sis Angie, family members and a few of his closest friends. This Aries cutie turned 16 on March 21st, but opted for a simple celebration at the bowling alley rather than the usual over the top party.  Pics inside...
