ONE at Slam City Skates Store Opening

This past Saturday marked the official opening of One Distribution’s new store, ONE at Slam City Skates. A unique branded retail space curated in the basement of famed London-based skate shop Slam City Skates, the opening is One Distribution’s first global retail initiative. The basement space, located in Neal’s Yard, comes with a rich history as it was formerly the home of Rough Trade – a legendary UK vinyl shop that was frequented by the late Kurt Cobain and has hosted in-store gigs by artists like Jeff Buckley, Stereolab, PJ Harvey and the Beastie Boys’ first ever show in the UK. One Distribution plans to produce several unique products throughout the year that speak to Slam City’s 25-year history as one of London’s most respected skate shops.

Da Brat Is FREE!

Jermaine Dupri has informed the innanets that Da Brat is FREE!

Yes, chick has raised up from behind those prison bars today and is home after a 2.5 year stint.  Read on for the deets..
After serving 2.5 of her 3 year sentence in prison for going upside a club waitress' head with a bottle, Da Brat's good friend Jermaine Dupri tweeted that she's now back home in Atlanta and free as a bird:

According to her sentence, though, she'll still be on probation for 7 years.
So...what are a few things Brat missed and will be MOST shocked about while she was away?  The fact her homie Lil Kim has been cloned?  The fact everyone now knows when a celeb even takes a ***....because they tell us on this little thing called Twitter?  The fact that music has gotten even sh*ttier over the past few years?  Or the fact that we actually DID inaugurate a black President, AND he's STILL the President?
We're here for all your pop culture and up to date needs and questions Brat.  Welcome home.

“Pat and Emile are doing their own thing, i wish them well. I have a diff vision, for music, for the world. im just doing the right thing, i come from a different place. people lose sight of the mission. cant expect everyone to be built like me. when people have different visions, you gotta go your own way. Still distributed through Motown. the jams will be the same, but more real and true to me. the new label will be formed with @DotDaGenius. i have a new name [for the label], i just wanna lock it in contractually first. this is a day to rejoice, this isnt bad news. things are gonna be so epic, im like a kid on xmas eve im so excited bout this new chapter.”
