An inside source confirmed to the Associated Press today that Usher and veteran guitarist, Slash, will both make surprise appearances during this year’s Superbowl Halftime Show.
Usher and Slash are slated to perform with The Black Eyed Peas, who are the main act of the halftime show. Apparently, Usher is doing double duty because we told you earlier he is expected at Mark Cuban's Superbowl party as well.

Ziggy Marley and his wife, Orly Agai Marley, welcomed their third child together on January 26. The couple has added Abraham Selassie Robert Nesta Marley to their family.
Abraham joins big sister Judah Victoria, 5, and brother Gideon Robert Nesta, 4. Ziggy has three other children from a previous relationship. Congrats!

Juelz Santana Arrested On Drug And Gun Charges + Drew Sidora's Cocaine Smuggling Boyfriend Involves Her In Federal Investigation

Juelz Santana was arrested yesterday for possession of drugs and firearms. Get the deets on Juelz troubles inside plus find out how dating a cocaine dealer got Drew Sidora caught on some federal wiretaps...

Juelz Santana was arrested yesterday in connection with a raid on his studio earlier this month. Police had been looking for the rapper since January 20th.
He was charged with "possession of a firearm, possession of a handgun without a permit, possession of a controlled dangerous substance and possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a school."
If you want a breakdown of what Juelz had, cops say they found two loaded 9mm handguns in the studio, along with 17 small bags of marijuana. They also claim Juelz is a member of the feared Bloods street gang, which is the biggest street gang in New Jersey.
Juelz Santana, aka Laron James, was taken to Bergen County Jail in Hackensack on $125,000 bail.
“We are hopeful that my Brother will be released tonight. He is just being processed through the system right now. I posted his bail earlier today. All computers are currently down at the Prosecutor’s Office," said Jermaine "Twin" James, Juelz's older brother and manager.

Falling in love with a drug dealer may not be good for your image as actress/singer Drew Sidora is finding out.
Drew's name has been mentioned in a federal drug case involving a variety of shady Baltimore men, accused of shipping hundreds of kilos of cocaine from Southern California to Baltimore.
Drew, who has recently appeared on "The Game," had been dating Ricky Brascom, one of the owners of Behind Da Scenes Entertainment, a label that promotes Chicago rapper Paypa. They claim Ricky used private jets to import over 400 kilos of cocaine into the city of Baltimore (a street value of $4 million).
After months of wiretapping Ricky's phone conversations, police heard Drew telling him she feared he may be arrested because of what he does.
While Drew has not been charged with any crime, her name is now being associated with the shady underworld of Baltimore, which won't be a good look at the NAACP Image Awards. I know folks don't make the best decisions when they are in love, but I hope Drew gets it together and realizes she is too talented and pretty to associate herself with the underworld.

Tyler Perry has released two new movie posters advertising his new flick Madea's Big Happy Family hitting movie houses on April 22.  On the funny posters, Madea is featured as both Black Swan and The Godmother. I hope Tyler releases a few more of these.  He really knows how to advertise his products.


In music news...

Rapper Bun B has traded the microphone for textbooks and stained glass windows as the“Distinguished Lecturer" of Religious Studies at Rice University in Houston, Texas.  The southern rapper is teaching “Religious Studies 331: Religion and Hip-Hop Culture” at Rice University because he wanted to expand the discussion past Hip-Hop 101.

“The whole point of me as a Hip-Hop artist and a representative of the Hip-Hop community teaching this course, was to inspire people that Hip-Hop doesn’t have to be confined within the conditions that we know it to be confined.  You don’t have to just be a Hip-Hop artist in a club, or an arena or a studio or on television or on the radio. That Hip-Hop has the opportunity to educate and inform and inspire people across all walks of life, within all settings. I feel like being able to teach at a college university is a perfect example of showing how Hip-Hop can influence the minds of the next generation."

Some may find it hard to imagine Bun B is this position, but when he describes the course and what it stands for, it's easy to see his passion and what he brings to the discipline.

“People are under the assumption that this is a course that I created, but this was a course that was already in existence with Rice in association with the H.E.R.E. Project. The H.E.R.E. Project is Houston Enriches Rice Education. And what they’ve done with this program is taken the opportunity to bring the rich cultural history of Houston onto the campus of Rice University. Me being a part of Houston’s culture, this is a part of that process. This was the first program that asked me to actually be a part of the process: the building of the lesson plan, the forming of the syllabus, the actual lectures taking place in the class—everything that helps define the course.”

So what are the students learning? Bun said,

"In this class it gives them an opportunity to ask questions and go towards a deeper level of introspection with this not just being a Hip-Hop course but a religion in Hip-Hop course and being based out of the Humanities and Religious Studies department,” Bun explains. “So it’s really asking real questions about people. It’s not just playing music and showing videos and stuff like that. We’re having a real dialogue and we’re showing how Hip-Hop as a culture addresses the real questions in people’s lives and how that relates to one’s spiritual or religious quest in life."

To his credit, the class is doing well.  Its size has doubled to 250 students since the start of the semester. I think it's great that someone like Bun B can take his expertise from the street and put it in the classroom.

Wiz Khalifa seems very happy with Amber Rose. He even introduced her to his mama. 
When asked how the romance was going, Wiz simply said, "Currently cool."
Amber has made appearances at some of his shows and they often get flirty on Twitter.  In his interview with Funkmaster Flex, Wiz said during the AFC Championship game in Pittburgh, he introduced Amber to his mother and they hit it off.
Maybe Wiz will write a song for Amber. He sure has a lot of new music on the way with his new album  Rolling Papers due on March 29, while his next single, "Roll Up," hit the Web last week.

ARRESTED! Juelz Santana Taken Into Custody After Drug Raid!

Uh oh!  Rapper Juelz Santana just got caught up by the Bergen County, New Jersey police department.  He was just arrested and taken into custody tonight, only a week and a half after his studio was raided for drugs.

According to Rap Radar, the Bergen County Police Department's Gang Office just brought Juelz into custody.  He's been arrested on 4 counts of narcotic and weapon offenses.
At the end of January, police raided Juelz's studio and two loaded 9 millimeter guns, ammo, 17 bags of marijuana and paraphernalia were seized.  Sigh.
Juelz recently welcomed a new baby with his video vixen girlfriend Kimbella.

Vanessa Bryant and Khloe Kardashian are 2 Laker wives that have been going at it ever since Khloe entered the picture.  While rumors have been hitting the net for over a year now that cat fights and ish talking between the two are common occurrences, it looks like Vanessa is bringing her own reality show to the masses to compete.

Kobe Bryant's wife, Vanessa, is rumored to be pitching a reality show to a few networks.  But not without bashing Lamar Odom's wife, Khloe Kardashian's, show first.
Word has it Vanessa has banned her hubby of 10 years from ever appearing on Khloe & Lamar's upcoming show, which just got greenlit by E!.  Vanessa also had a hand in banning cameras from the Laker locker room supposedly.  Why?  I'm sure that little "J" word has something to do with it.  Jealous of what?  Who knows. Both chicks are only "famous" because of who sleeps next to them a night. *Kanye shrug*
Yet and still, Vanessa is supposedly "seething" over the Odoms copping a show.  According to In Touch Weekly:
“Vanessa and Khloe have been longtime rivals,” an In Touch insider explains. “Vanessa has been pitching her own reality series, with no success yet, and she hates that rival Khloe is impinging on what she considers to be her terrority.” Another friend adds: “Lamar has been ordered by the power that be to not talk about the Lakers Lamar might not even be able to wear his uniform on camera.”

Christina Milian & The Dream's Divorce Goes Money Crazy+Terrence Howard's Wife Files For Divorce!

A few days ago, reports surfaced that Christina Milian wanted to nab 10% of her ex-hubby The Dream's earnings from writing Justin Beiber's hit "Baby."  But apparently Mr. Nash is backing out the deal.  And Chrissy ain't having it.  And the new settlement docs were just released today.

In the divorce settlement, Christina was looking to cash in on Terius' serious royalties he will receive for writing Beiber's "Baby."  Dream no longer wants to give her that kind of money.  So Christina took it to the Georgia court to have them enforce it.  Peep the documents here.
According to Radar Online:

In a letter sent to Milian's attorney Randy Kessler, dated January 13, "The-Dream's" attorney claims that the multi-million dollar producer acted in "good faith" in an effort to "finalize this matter in a manner that would allow each person to do so with dignity and grace".
But that hasn't "been appreciated... we apparently do not have an agreement," the lawyer wrote to Kessler.
Kessler, who also represented Tameka Foster in her divorce from R&B star Usher, told RadarOnline.com in an exclusive interview -- "a deal is a deal."
"Justin Bieber is not the issue here... Ms. Flores simply wants Mr. Nash to adhere to what he previously agreed upon," he said.

Mmmm.  If you're wondering what all Chris got out the divorce settlement, she came out alright for herself.  She and baby Violet get:

• Visitation and parenting time with the couple's daughter will be negotiated by both parties, but the view and goal is to have Mr. Nash able to spend as much of the time as he wants with the child, up to 50 percent, as the parties can best work out
• Milian will receive $10,000 a month in child support which includes a $6,500 a month payment and up to $3,500 a month for day care, nanny and private school
• Milian will receive $3,500 a month in alimony for two years or upon remarriage or proof of a meretricious relationship with the opposite sex lasting at least 60 days
• Milian will receive 10 percent of the Justin Bieber single, Baby
• Milian will receive free and clear a Mercedes G55
• Milian and Nash will keep their own possessions, jewelry, the gifts that the other one gave them, their personal effects and each will retain title to their businesses that they currently own and operate.

$13,500K/month in support plus the Benz plus some royalties.  I mean it's not the multi mills Juanita Jordan or Camille Grammer are getting...but it'll suffice.

In other Splitsville news, Terrence Howard's wife of 1 year, Michelle Howard, has filed for divorce.  After she just dished to her pals how he had a romantic surprise for hr at the Sundance Film Festival a few weeks ago, news broke today that she went to the courthouse and filed for divorce.
Interestingly, Michelle put in the docs they had been separated on January 27th, 2011.  Around the same time as Terrence's romantic gesture.  READ THE DOCS HERE.
Radar reports she's seeking spousal support, and cites the California standard of ‘irreconcilable differences’ as the reason for the split.  And she’s requesting Terrence pay her legal fees. No more baby wipes for HER.
The couple has no kids.  And it's 41-year-old Terrence's 3rd marriage and second wife (he married first wife Lori twice).

Gabriel Aubry Accused Of Calling Halle Berry The "N" Word

In a shocking new development, sources close to Halle Berry are saying that Gabriel Aubry called her the "N" word and was verbally abusive during their relationship.  Deets inside....


TMZ reports that sources close to Halle Berry are saying Gabriel Aubry was verbally abusive to the movie star and called her the "N" word.
In addition to vulgar text messages, sources say he was also fond of calling her a "f**king bitch" and other expletives.  The source ended by saying, "He constantly demeaned her. It was awful." 
This is outrageous.  If Halle produces texts messages sent from Gabriel that are demeaning in nature...it's a wrap.  The custody battle will collapse...along with his career.  It will be interesting to see where this goes.

Halle Berry Gears Up For Custody Battle With Gabriel Aubry, And Warned That He's Full Of Rage!

What seemed to be a peaceful separation between Halle Berry and Gabriel Aubry is turning out to be anything but "peaceful."  Accusations are flying around on both sides with each trying to gain an upper hand in the custody battle.  Get the deets on this messy situation inside....

 

 

 

Halle's friends are speaking out about Gabriel and warning that he could be a danger to Halle or Nahla.  Gabe's former friend and business partner Stephane Bibeau told PEOPLE,  "Once they broke up he became verbally threatening to Halle.  He is a vindictive guy." Stephane says he even used a racial slur against her (Halle).

 

But friends of Gabe tell PEOPLE that he is a very dedicated father and only wants to be recognized as the father of Nahla and share custody of her.  A source close to him said:

 

“From the beginning, Halle kind of had the upper hand because she was essentially supporting all of them for the most part. Gabriel never liked how that felt. Their split was tough because they're both so involved in raising Nahla, and neither ever wanted to give that up."

 

So maybe this is a battle of two strong-willed parents each wanting to be the biggest influence in their child's life.  If that is so, it's not looking good for Gabe as old lovers are coming out of the woods and saying Gabe would be a bad influence on Nahla.

 

Page Bogart, a former girlfriend of Gabriel, recently told TMZ that Gabriel is a lying cheat, prone to fits of rage.  She then gave them a voicemail of him in a fit of rage, where he accused her of leaking gossip about him.  Page claims she warned Halle saying, "Gabriel's entire motivation has always been money.  I tried to warn Halle early on but she didn’t want to believe it."   

Well…Halle clearly has her suspicions up now as her rep told PEOPLE that Halle has "serious concerns for her daughter's well-being while in the care of her father." 

I have a feeling this is going to explode into a big Hollywood drama.
